After presenting a major scientific breakthrough to a rapt audience across the country, renowned astronomer Sarah Mayfield returns home to a disturbing discovery. Her husband, Ben, a Los Angeles restaurateur, has disappeared, leaving behind an unexplained bank deposit of a million dollars, a loaded Glock in the nightstand, and a video security system that’s been wiped clean. The only answers their son, Zack, can offer are the last words his father said to him: keep the doors locked and set the alarm.

I completely enjoyed this book. The writing is awesome. The storyline keeps you wondering what will happen next. The characters are believable with the events that happen to them. A great ending that was not rushed. Sometimes a book will end too a abruptly. I will say that I was not found of the narrators, however I did not let that take away from my enjoyment of the book.

The New York Times best-selling author of The Library of Light and Shadow crafts a dazzling Jazz Age jewel - a novel of ambition, betrayal, and passion about a young painter whose traumatic past threatens to derail her career at a prestigious summer artists’ colony run by Louis Comfort Tiffany of Tiffany & Co. fame.

I loved this book from start to finish. From the very beginning I was pulled into the story of Jenny a girl gifted but damaged from her past. One of the things that M.J. does so well is develop her characters with an ease that just melts in the story. It’s like you really don’t realize it but you are right there with them. I love her books and her writing style is spot on. I love Tavia Gilbert’s narration. It was a win win for me to have two great artists come together and give me a wonderful rainy Sunday listen.

Part caper, part romantic comedy, this hilariously entertaining book in the Bod Squad series features a sassy and sexy undercover operative, Susannah “Legs” Carter, and her Ocean’s Eleven-style team of private investigators. From Washington, DC, to Paris, Legs is tailing Charles Oakley Palmer III, a white-collar criminal she’s determined to bring to justice. But will romance or betrayal blossom along the way?

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

What a wonderful story and the narration was wonderful! I listened until it was done. I love Santa Montefiore's writing. This book was well worth the credit. Try it for yourself.
