Yes. I've seen the movie. But the books are always better than the movie, right?? This one is no exception. It's funnier than the movie and Jonathan Frakes performance is fantastic. If you are a fan of this genre, go for it. You won't be disappointed.

On the outside, Ink Mage looked to be a typical young adult fantasy type novel with a simpering duchess who needed to learn inner strength. It's not. Rina is a bad-ass from the start. She is proficient with a sword and most of the times crude. I really cannot wait to start the next one in the series! "AUDIBLE 20 REVIEW SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY"

Rebel Kingdom is a continuation of a story. Throughout the twists and turns the plot thickens and is unpredictable. (YAY!!) I love the dynamics of the characters and how the author presents their thought process. I've become emotionally attached to several and I cannot wait to start book 3.

This book is from the middle of a series, but having not read the series I was easily able to keep up.

The story was a little dull. I found it to be a little predictable and slow in places. I do wonder that if I had read the other books first if I would have been more engaged with the characters. But the performance was great and it was an easy story to listen to.

I love a great sci-fi book. And I love a great comedy. Adams brings both with the Hitchhiker's series. I love the books. This particular book is a concert of Adams favorite sections read by Adams. Its laugh out loud funny and a perfect driving companion. this one is going into regular rotation!

STOP - Have you read the Assassin's Blade yet? If not, start there. This is book one but by going back to the prequel you will get a ton of background into the heroine.

This series is a great, I-Can't-Put-It-Down, series. And much like Harry Potter, the first book isn't as great. But by the time I got to Heir of Fire, you can tell how much the characters and the author had grown. Love the books and can't wait until the next one comes out!

These stories are the prequel to the Throne of Glass series. They are not necessary but they do set the stage nicely. I highly recommend reading them.

I loved Heir of Fire. I started the series and when I got to this one, I could not put it down. The characters grow with each book and this was no exception. The plot thickens and I cannot wait until the next one!!
