With Susan Mallery as the author and Therese Plummet narrating how can it go wrong. I love the growth in so many characters, not just the 2 main ones. Can’t wait for next book

Lady Brenna MacAlister harbored no illusions that her husband, a quick-tempered highland laird, was in love with her. How could he be enamored of his bride when, on their wedding day, he had assured her that she could return to her home in England as soon as she had given him a son? Marrying Connor MacAlister had been an impulsive act for Brenna. But MacAlister and his warriors, a savage-looking band who had captured her and her party en route to her arranged marriage with another, offered precious few alternatives.

  • A wonderful book completely ruined by editing.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I did not like the reader. I wish they would re-do the book using another reader and making it unabridged. You missed a lot of funny parts and I also think that some important pieces were missing.
