Dr. Paul Johnston can't get a set of dark, somber eyes out of his head, and the timing couldn't be worse. The last thing he needs is to fall for a patient. Not now, when he's been put on paid leave pending review of a formal complaint...Paul is afraid to start a relationship, and Zane can only handle so much more rejection. Will these two find their perfect moment, or will they realize you can't choose when and how you fall in love? If Paul can't take a risk, he may have to choose: the career he loves or the first man to capture his heart.

DJ Jamison gave us all a funny, yet touching story that Kenneth Obi brings to enjoyable life. They had me giggling and when Kenneth is vocalizing talking to the dog, I can hear his love for his own coming though.

His complicated relationship with Noah and Indy doesn't make it easy, either. I don't need anyone's protection. I'm fine. But to appease my sister after a home invasion, I agree to take self-defense lessons. They just so happen to be with a big, muscled former navy SEAL who may or may not be everything I've always daydreamed about but never thought I could have. And he's dead set on looking out for me even when things in my life suddenly get complicated. Two dynamic talents joined together to delight my ears. I loved reading the book but Kenneth Obi just really brought all those characters to life. Trying to come up with different voices and include accents can be so hard, but Kenneth Obi makes it seem just so easy! His voice is a delight to listen to and really brought the steam level of this already hot book off the charts. Kudos to both the author and the narrator. Definitely worth a listen or two!
