Riley Lewis is an omega for hire, and he offers a specialist service - he can take an alpha knot without any of the emotional baggage. And now he’s got a client: a rich alpha who needs him to be a fake boyfriend. But Chase is adamant it’s just business. A fake relationship for show, to keep his father off his back. No sex. Definitely no knotting. But what’s Chase supposed to do when the immediate connection he feels for the omega turns into a soul-deep craving to be close, too overwhelming to ignore?

This story had potential. Unfortunately, the narrator wasn't right for it. He's probably a wonderful narrator, but not for these characters, the characters were young but, his voice of them sounded vapid as if he were portraying elderly characters. ( no disrespect to our elderly) and each one of them sounded the same. I really had a hard time distinguishing who was who.😟

This story wasn't for me. I felt NO empathy for Spencer. He was such a weak weak man. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. The interaction ( or lack of) he had with peter made me so angry with him. He should have totally put that jerk in his place, and not be so fnnnnnnn wimpy and scary. I also didn't like the fact on how he treated his friend/co worker, it was like he was mad at her more than he was with Peter, at her, for speaking up, and standing up for him. she definitely had more balls than Spencer. I had no problem with their age difference, but how are you going to let a 22yr old come in and be more mature, confident, strong, and almost have to treat you like your a baby, WTHEll.😠 Only thing I liked about this story was the narrator, he did a nice job!🙂

Violence has always been part of my life. I was angry as a child, with no outlet for my dangerous rage. Years have passed, and I'm no longer a victim of my own aggression. I'm in control now. A control that many seek to surrender. Just like her. My pet. The beautiful blonde who agreed to submit to my will. She agreed to be kidnapped and locked away until our contract is over. She's here to play a role. But her defiance seems too real, her terror too honest. Watching her struggle is bone-chilling. She's getting to me like no one ever has before, seizing a heart that cannot love.

In my opinion, this story was just ok. It lacked so many opportunities to become a good read/listen. I found myself in wanting to skip through chapters thinking I would find more answers, but I didn't, ( In both cases). The only reason why I continued to finish listening to this book was because of the wonderful narration. Also, the ending of this story was totally unfulfilling. Definitely only a 2☆ story.😞

First of all, let me start off by saying I'm not a prude in any form or fashion, and definitely not conservative. But I am christian, this story, the characters, were so disgusting and disrespectful. ( Gosh, I wish I could go Express all I feel without spoiling it for others) but I can't. What I will say is that for him having these thoughts and after the first Indiscretion he should have resigned. How many times must you screw to know your not committed. Poppy, I could not STAND her sick butt. Besides the fact that they were BOTH ( In my opinion) disgusting and deplorable, What really got to me was the fact that they used the church like it was a bedroom. How awful. I dont care what this author tried to portray, but this was absolutely NOOOOOT a love story revolting mess.😡 JM great narrator.

Last night was the most embarrassing night of my life. I was that girl. You know, the highly intoxicated chick celebrating her 30th with her two best friends - the ones who are happily married. And the more I drank, the more I wanted to do something reckless to celebrate. By reckless, I meant the sexy and alluring man dressed in a business suit standing near the bar.

I enjoyed this story. It was sweet. I definitely loved Hunter and the way he took care and Interacted with this daughter. The only complaint I have is that the narrators voice of a child of the age of 4yrs old was to mature. Her voice was more of an 8 or 9 yr old. Besides that fact, the narration was excellent! I recommend this book.

Story, narration, characters, it gave me everything. I laughed, I cried, I became angry, I just loved it. I loved it so much, that even though I want to read the other two books, I'm scared thinking, that it can't be topped. I highly recommend this book!
