After serving five years of a 10-year sentence for a crime he didn't commit, coming home to Knot Valley after being vindicated should be alpha Luke Barker's triumph. All he wants is the life he was supposed to have - a thriving farm, a strong family, and a house full of kids. He should have learned by now that nothing is fair, and he'll have to work just as hard to make it on the outside as he did to survive in prison.

This book was a very enjoyable listen. I loved the storyline, and also the 2 main characters. With their adveristy, they proved with love, trust, and patience, you will pervail. The author is very talented. The narrator did an awesome job in bringing the characters to life, especially the 🔥🔥 love scenes, the passion he put in it, makes you really feel the love they had for each other.( well it did me)😊If your looking for a good Alpha, Omega, Mprg, book, I recommend you start here. I look forward to listening to book 2, and the complete series, and hope it becomes available to adubile soon.🙂

This is a nice beginning to a new shifter /mprg series. I'm impressed with the authors writing of this book. Also, I'm eager to find out how each shifter finds their mates or, the one. Also, how papa will handle THE WITCH. The narrator did a nice job with the characters. I'm looking forward to book 2 and the complete series coming to adubile. The only reason I gave 4☆s is that I wished it was longer.☺I recommend this book!🙂

I had high hopes for this story. It started out with promise, but the beginning of the middle part it turned awful. For it being a short story, it dragged on way to long, + the storyline became absolutely ridiculous. where was the common sense,( common sense would tell you...look in the house from head to toe, Duhhhh.)Toward the end + the end was so terrible, it was laughable. The narrator did a good job with his performance of the characters. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to save this story. 😖

I wish the complete series were available on adubile. This series is one of the best I've listened to. The storylines and characters + the continuation from the previous book along with the characters, good job. The narration, OUTSTANDING. He's doing a fantastic job in bringing them to life. The continuation of the series may be available on my kindle, but I would refuse to read it. It wouldn't be the same. I highly recommend this series!👍👍☆☆☆☆

I enjoy this story, but not listening to it. The narrator was horrible. He did not bring these characters to life at all. He made them sound so vapid. Even the intimate scenes he made them boring, bull, and robotic. If it wasn't for invested and likening the storyline, I would have stopped listening. This was a cute and enjoyable story, but the narrator killed it.😖I hope the next installment will be with another narrator.😒

This storyline was a great start to this series. I absolutely loved it. The love, compassion, and protectiveness that the team, along with the couple had for each other was wonderful. Even with a little bickering they still had each other's 6. This story will have you experiencing all type of emotions. heartbreak, laughter, ANGER, and happy. The narration was awesome. He brought every character to life. I can't wait until the next installment!🤗

Let me start off by saying, these two authors are very talented in their writing, I have listened to many of their books and have enjoyed them. But, this one, they dropped the ball. ( No Disrespect) I could hardly finish listening to it. It was horrible. I hated the way Paxs treated Zeke, and hated the way Zeke just took it. Mate or no mate, Zeke should have put his foot down, especially, everytime he turned around he's having his own knife being taken away from him and putting it either to his throat or balls, he should have told Paxs, ( Deuces✌I'm out😠) I mean who was the Alpha?🤔 It certainly wasn't Zeke. Hes to weak to be an alpha. It became to exasperating at times where I skipped through chapters, something I NEVER do. The ending sucked too. To much unnecessary meanness on Paxs part for me to forget. One good thing I can say about this book is The narration was awesome.

This was a good story. The storyline was believable. I enjoyed it very much. I also liked Witt & Reese and there teamwork after they came to terms with their fears. It's sad that in this day and time, this is still an ongoing problem and still happening. The narrator did a wonderful job in bringing the characters to life. The only little complaint I have is, I feel someone got off to easy.( I will not say who. it would give some of the storyline away). I recommend this book!👍

Ben was wounded in the heat of battle, now considered by society to be just another injured veteran werewolf. He’s loved, lost, and decided it isn’t worth the trouble. In a world where shifters die just because of the blood in their veins, what’s the point in committing? You just risk losing yourself. James is a kept omega, hidden away by his family until his breeding date. Soft and supple, James knows his intended mate-to-be will probably break him all to pieces. But isn’t that what omegas are for?

The second book, in my opinion so far is the best. Ben & James, two men that loved and needed each other. I liked their storyline. What I didnt like in both books, was the narration. The narrator didnt really change the characters voices, they sounded the same and with no life brought to them. The narration of both books were vapid. No disrespect to the narrator but, both books that I've listened to would have been better with a different narrator. Maybe JE. If you can get passed the vapid narration, I recommend the two books.

This was a decent, and nice, story. It just goes to show there's a second chance for us all. The storyline was nice. The only complaint I have is the voice of the Alpha. I wish the narrator would have given him a much stronger voice. As he did the omega. I'm used of Alpha's with a much stronger presence and voice. It kinda threw me. But besides that, I enjoyed the listen, and do recommend this book.
