Like most humans, NYU student Mia Stalis knows little about the beautiful, mysterious invaders who’ve taken over Earth. Rumors about them abound: about their impossible strength and speed, their intentions toward Earth...their vampiric tendencies. None of it concerns Mia, though - until she catches Korum’s eye. Powerful and terrifyingly seductive, the Krinar leader will do anything to possess her - and no human law can stop him.

To ne honest, i steuggled with this series. I did not care for the Hero in this story until the end of book 2. He was too domineering and controlling tothe point of being a narcissist. But he grew on me and all of the trials the H/H faced made the story well rounded and intriguing. I loved all of the characters. The narrator was spectacular giving each character the proper personality and voice and diction. i would love ro rwad more about how the Krinar and Humans grow together in another book or series. not necessarily Mia and Korums story but i wouldnt mind if their story did continue.

Her boyfriend's attempted murder leaves Megan floundering in the ocean. Sinking without hope, the bright light she sees in the night sky isn't her doorway to heaven, but rather the beginning of her accidental abduction by a space pirate. While thankful of his rescue, Megan stays true to form and just can't keep her mouth shut, even when he keeps threatening to kill her - or auction her off to the highest bidder. Even odder, despite her decision to not get involved with her wickedly hot captor, she can't help craving his touch.

They say when you assume, you make an ass out of you and me. Kenton Mayson learned this lesson firsthand when he made assumptions about Autumn Freeman and the kind of woman she was based on what little information he had. What he finds out is that she's not only beautiful but also smart, funny, a fighter, and exactly the kind of woman he wants to share his life with. Autumn made assumptions of her own about Kenton, and now he needs to prove her wrong in order to protect her and their future.
