Al Franken, Giant of the Senate is a book about an unlikely campaign that had an even more improbable ending: the closest outcome in history and an unprecedented eight-month recount saga, which is pretty funny in retrospect. It's a book about what happens when the nation's foremost progressive satirist gets a chance to serve in the United States Senate and, defying the low expectations of the pundit class, actually turns out to be good at it.

What did you love best about The 21-Day Budgeting Challenge?

There is some really good advice in this audiobook.

Any additional comments?

Originally I thought this was a computer voice narrating, and I would still be torn if it weren't for the narrator's name on the cover. Terrible!

This book is a bestseller in Germany, which made me curious so I gave it a shot. I listened to the abridged version of the audiobook, which could have affected the overall storyline as well, but the story didn't grab me. It was interesting at first, but half-way through the book I lost interest. Too bad.
