Risking everything to transform himself and breach Gold society, Darrow has battled to survive the cutthroat rivalries that breed Society's mightiest warriors, climbed the ranks, and waited patiently to unleash the revolution that will tear the hierarchy apart from within.

The book/series is perfect mixture plot and character driven. So good! I'm going to listen again in the future for sure. I found myself yelling at the characters, (while driving) cheering for them and I was pounding on my steering wheel at times. I'm also planning on owning this series in hard copy as well. It's that good!!

It's not just dystopian it's a bit fantasy a bit of a lot of things. This started out predictable and I was a bit annoyed but then it got better and better and more twisted. It's so good!

One morning, after a perfectly ordinary party, Tana wakes up surrounded by corpses. The only other survivors of this massacre are her exasperatingly endearing ex-boyfriend, infected and on the edge, and a mysterious boy burdened with a terrible secret. Shaken and determined, Tana enters a race against the clock to save the three of them the only way she knows how: by going straight to the wicked, opulent heart of Coldtown itself. The Coldest Girl in Coldtown is a wholly original story of rage and revenge, of guilt and horror, and of love and loathing from best-selling and acclaimed author Holly Black.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, for sure. Holly Black writes such a convincing world that I thought, 'this is really how it would be if vamps became real...' This story has just enough of everything, suspense, romance and a good bit of blood.
Narrator is great!!!

What did you like best about this story?

Everything.

Any additional comments?

Don't pass this book by. I thought I was SOOOOO over vamp stories. OVERDONE! But not this one! Oh its perfect!!

The circus arrives without warning. No announcements precede it. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not. Within the black-and-white striped canvas tents is an utterly unique experience full of breathtaking amazements. It is called Le Cirque des Rêves, and it is only open at night.

Where does The Night Circus rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I don't like this as an audio so much. I think I would have been able to follow the story line better reading it. The story is kinda choppy and the character who's POV he is telling it from jumps around. There are a ton of people to keep strait.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Night Circus?

The descriptions of the circus, the smells and sounds and feelings were beautifully written.

What about Jim Dale’s performance did you like?

Jim Dale is so great! His voice makes me think of Harry Potter always though. He does not do female voices as well though.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yeah kinda!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes to someone who enjoys a little smut and not much else ;)

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

It had a few twists in the story but it was pretty easy to figure out. Predictable.

Have you listened to any of Johanna Parker’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

YES! I chose this because she is the narrator. She is superb!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Naw.
