I listened to this book during a six hour drive. I have to say, I enjoyed it so much that it didn't want to stop for gas. Lorelei King did an amazing job of capturing Charley Davidson's personality. I loved this story. Charley, who is a grim reaper is full of snark and sarcasm. The secondary characters are excellent. The story held my attention until the end. I look forward to reading/listening to other books in this series.

I really enjoyed Maxine Mitchell's narration of Wolfe's Hope. It was very smooth and the voice modulations for the various characters in the story was spot on.
Lora Leigh's breed series is one of my favorites. The relationship between the heroine and the hero is usually complicated and interesting. Ms Leigh also creates truly evil villains. In this particular story, the villain is the female scientist Delila Bainsworth who actually uses her own daughter to breed with Wolfe. Spoiler, she does get her comeuppance at the end and you can't help but cheer. I highly recommend this book and series.

I enjoyed this shapeshifter story. It is not every day you have a shifter that is a reptile. What is Bittech actually working on? Where are the missing people in the town and who is creating "monsters"?As usual, Ms Langlais adds her brand of humor to the story. The secondary characters are strong and will appear again in the rest of the series. My only problem with the narration was that Ms Skyye pronounced the main character's name as Cal-in instead of Kay-lib

Sean Taggert goes undercover to try to find a terrorist. Along the way, he meets Grace. Sean gets close to Grace to see if she is working with the terrorist. Grace is a widow who was given a chance as an assistant to the boss of the company. Is her boss working with the terrorist, is Grace? Can Grace find happiness with a younger man who is also a Dom? I loved the relationship between Grace and Sean. Though hesitant at first, Grace soon realizes that Sean is what she wants and needs. Lexi Blake manages to combine suspense, laughs and get sex to make an interesting story. I loved this story and can't wait to listen to the rest of the books in this series.

What did you love best about Logan's Acadian Wolves?

I loved the banter and relationship between Logan and his Beta Dimitri. I also liked the fact that Wynter Ryan was an intelligent woman who put herself in danger in order to find a cure for her friend.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked how Logan kept fighting his feelings for Wynter. I also liked how even though he is a vampire, Leopold was there to help the wolves try and find out who the murderer was and why someone was trying to kidnap Wynter.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was during the full moon, after Wynter did her first change, that she didn't cower when she was challenged by another female in the pack and showed mercy instead of killing her. I also like the scene between Logan, Wynter and Dimitri after she changed the first time.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The moment that moved me was when Wynter returned from meeting with Jax Chandler, the NY Alpha, even though Logan had a lot to explain to Wynter, he took responsibility for the grieving pack during the funeral.

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed this story. Ryan West's narration of this story was excellent. I look forward to more audio books in this series. I highly recommend this audio book.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would highly recommend this book. I loved the romance between Cade and Anna. For years she was a neglected wife. They only joy in her life being her two sons. After the boys graduate college she dumps her unfaithful husband and heads to a new life in New Orleans. There she finds her true love, Cade.

What did you like best about this story?

I travel to New Orleans frequently and I recognized many of the places the characters visited. I also loved Cade's family dynamic. I was very happy that Cade and Anna found the other half of their souls.

Which character – as performed by Robert Martinez – was your favorite?

Cade, though I enjoyed the rest of the family as well.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I likes how Anna's sons were very protective of their mother when meeting Cade. I also liked Stephan's interaction and teasing too.

Any additional comments?

If you have ever travelled to New Orleans, you will love this story. Looking for a great paranormal romance, this will totally satisfy you. I look forward to the next audio story.

Would you consider the audio edition of Kade's Dark Embrace to be better than the print version?

I loved both versions. It was interesting listening to it instead of reading it.

What did you like best about this story?

The audio version gave life to this story.

What about Ryan West’s performance did you like?

His ability to switch from the Kade's British accent to Luca's Australian accent with ease especially when they were talking to each other.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Kade came upon Sydney in the basement as she was being tortured. You could actually hear Kade's anguish as he saw how injured she was.

Any additional comments?

I loved listening to the audio version of this story as I drove. I didn't want to leave my car because I enjoyed it so much. As a result, I purshased Logan. I can't wait to hear Ryan West narrate that book as well.
