Looking for a tattoo - and maybe a little something extra: a burst of good luck, a dollop of true love, or even a hex on an ex? Head to the quiet and mysterious Gage, the best skin artist in town. Using unique potions - a blend of extraordinary ingredients and special inks - to etch the right symbol, he can fulfill any heart's desire. But in a place like Low Town, where elves, faeries, trolls, werewolves, and vampires happily walk among humanity, everything has its price. No one knows that better than Gage.

Would you try another book from Jocelynn Drake and/or Michael Urie?

The narrator made this less than stellar book worse that it had to be. If you like someone who sounds like he is always angry, just fed up with everyone he comes in contact with and has no talent for different voices....then you will like this one. OMG....he made what was supposed to be a sexy little imp speak with a lisp. I'll let you judge for yourself but I was very disappointed and it possibly could have been a good book, but it wasn't a good audible.

What could Jocelynn Drake have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

There was just one disaster after another. No respite. DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA and NO story!

How could the performance have been better?

Get someone with a range of voices and characters.

What character would you cut from Angel's Ink?

The narrator!!!!!

Would you try another book from Dee Henderson and/or Tom Stechschulte?

I was very disappointed in a book that got 4.5 stars! I didn't enjoy the reader and when the story line got into so much "If she were christian then .......". This was just not my book and I feel cheated by the Publishers Review. Do NOT shove your religious beliefs down my throat. I would like my book credit back.

Would you ever listen to anything by Dee Henderson again?

NEVER

What didn’t you like about Tom Stechschulte’s performance?

Very mundane.

If you could sum up Ten Thousand Islands in three words, what would they be?

Intrigue, Suspense, Unexpected

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

The unusual twists and turns of the story, I never could second guess the author.

Any additional comments?

The descriptions of the Florida terrain and the mystique of the 1000 islands kept my interest and curiosity going strong. The history of the area and the Indians was fascinating. I was completely surprised at the end to hear the author describe the actual case from which he took so much for his story. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes a story with a different twist.

Maybe it was the Shenanigans gift certificate that put her over the edge. When children's librarian and self-professed nice girl Jane Jameson is fired by her beastly boss and handed $25 in potato skins instead of a severance check, she goes on a bender that's sure to become Half Moon Hollow legend. On her way home, she's mistaken for a deer, shot, and left for dead.

I'm really surprised and delighted at the humor and imagination that Molly Harper has put into this book. It is the first I have read from her but it won't be the last. It takes a lot to make me laugh out loud as I'm driving in traffic at the end of a long day, but she has caught me off guard several times and the folks next to me are probably locking their doors when the see me laughing in dead stopped traffic.

Twenty-seven-year-old Josey Cirrini is sure of three things: winter in her North Carolina hometown is her favorite season, she's a sorry excuse for a Southern belle, and sweets are best eaten in the privacy of her hidden closet. For while Josey has settled into an uneventful life in her mother's house, her one consolation is the stockpile of sugary treats and paperback romances she escapes to each night.

I agree with another review. The narrator detracts drastically. While I would like to be focusing on the story all I can hear are sounds of breathing, swallowing and lip smacking. I would love to hear another one in this series but with someone else narrating.

This was my first Christina Dodd and it will be my last. Just not to my liking. There really wasn't anything to creat a "I' can't stop listening" story and that's being generous. If you are looking for Rachel Morgan or Sookie Stackhouse, this is not it.
