Stiglitz is too political to write objectively on this subject. I was hoping to learn something technical and theoretical about the reasons for the failure of the Euro, but instead mostly got leftist drivel about the need for more command economics.

The characters are unrelateable, uninspiring, and mostly vapid. Also, the author inserted modern-day attitude and morality into a medieval setting. Not believable. Could have used some serious editing as well. Had to wade through so much gtatuitous material that didn't contribute to the story nor that added anything useful regarding the time and place.
