Welcome to the most tumultuous summer of the 20th century. It's 1969, and for the Levin family, the times they are a-changing. Every year, the children have looked forward to spending the summer at their grandmother's historic home in downtown Nantucket. But like so much else in America, nothing is the same.

I wanted to hear this book because I was a rising senior summer ‘69. I knew it was my last summer of youth. I wasn’t disappointed. This novel took me back 50 years and it was so real it was as if I were there once again. Thanks for the memories

There were times I thought there weren’t any way some of the incidents could have possibly happened. Being from the area I continued listening. This book is a giant puzzle you don’t see the real picture until the last piece is in place. Then the entire story comes together and makes an amazing story

Confusing by the fifth lesson I knew nothing. Just too jumbled with no direction lost easily
