This story has a unique twist that just gets better with every page. Can’t imagine how book 2 will equal it much less do it better. I am going to find out. New author for me and this won’t be her last book I read. Very well done. The audible is a must get. The narration adds so much to the story. Excellent narrators.

I really love this series. This one has just enough heated sexy times to the story to make it very entertaining and sad when it ended. Looking forward to the next book in the series. Get the audible version. Narration is excellent. It adds so much enjoyment to the reading experience.

Dan's survived a lot. Her mother died. Her two sisters loathed her. One aunt hated her. The other was strangely distant, but the worst storm was being dumped by her childhood best friend/high school boyfriend/first love for her younger sister. There went the one person who was hers and with that, the main reason she stuck around. So, she left for 10 years. But now she's back, and nothing's the same.

This is another well written story by Tijan. I am amazed by the abilities of this author to weave a story so complex yet humanly simple. This story will tug at your heart and give you hope. So sad when it ended cause I just didn’t want to leave the characters. Narration was perfection. I am so going to listen to this again.

He told me to go away. I did. I followed his instructions. I left with the new family. They were from the right side of the tracks, and I tried to become one of them. I really did, but I failed. When someone died, someone that I loved, I couldn’t keep pretending everything was fine. It wasn’t. This privileged world he gave me wasn’t privileged. There were problems. He just never told me that he created them, that he had sent me into a world he set up for me. It was all a lie, but it was lie that I was going to expose. Or I would die trying.

I wasn’t so sure about reading a book with a girl playing with a knife. Because it was Tijan, I gave it a chance, along with the audible version. It is an outstanding story. The narration is exceptional but so totally Tijan. I don’t want to tell to much. Don’t want to spoil it for readers. The story is well developed, has interesting characters and the ending is almost perfection. be sure and get the audible version. It is so very good.

This was fascinating. I listened more than read but that will change soon when I go back to read it. I LOVED the audible version. Narration was beyond perfection. It’s a good little mystery told expertly. I leave this story feeling very happy to have met these characters and a little sad to be leaving them. This is a fantastic way to spend your reading hours. Note: this is a well written story, it is not an erotic jump from one bed to another (which I am not necessarily oppose to as long as the story is good.) Enjoy this one. I certainly did.

“Sometimes love happens when you least expect it.” That was what my husband’s mistress told me the day I found out about their affair. I didn’t believe it until five minutes later when mouthwatering celebrity chef Tanner Reese walked up, tossed his arm around my shoulders, and told my cheating husband to take a hike. Tanner and I couldn’t have been more different. Our relationship shouldn’t have worked, but it did. That is until Tanner proved to me that even though love happens when you least expect it so does heartbreak.

I so enjoyed listening to this book. The male voice mesmerized me and kept me listening. The female was fair. I just did not like the writers version of her. The story was good but I don’t think it’s going to be one I listen to again because of the female narrator. All performance points go to him.

They say opposites attract. In my world that isn't a good thing. I did everything I could to escape the grips of the motorcycle club I'd grown up in when I turned 21. It wasn't about fear, or betrayal, or even lack of love. I just needed my own life. I had to know how it felt to stand on my own two feet, without their protection. Then I met Diesel. Mysterious, dark, with eyes that screamed to be understood.

Jolie Louis is a smart girl. She knows that her best friend, Sage Poirier, is a bad idea. He's a walking, talking cliché. The Adonis quarterback with the bulging biceps and harem of fangirls trailing behind him on campus like a stench you can't get rid of. Sadly, that's also the reason she can't stay away from him. Well, that and the fact that they're roommates. Jolie is already straddling the line between friendship and more when Sage comes to her with an offer she cannot refuse.

Loved both the narrators. So hot, just perfection! The story kept me interested and entertained. It is one I will enjoy again and again just to hear those sexy voices. Just wish the author did not make her so indecisive when she finally gets her dream. Author should have written her stronger with something else to fill pages. Wish it was longer.
