this is a tough one to review. Let me start with the overall basic story itself, I liked it. There are just some execution items that kind of bugged me. There was swearing it seemed just for the sake of swearing, especially by Eve. It just felt forced, like the author decided they wanted to get so many swear words in the story. Sometimes they just weren't fitting. The narrator's, their voices were really good. I liked their tone and all that. But Evie was just so dramatic. Like she overacted every line. Like every single thing that happened to her was the most dramatic thing in the world. The mail oh, he was also on the dramatic side, but Cyrus had a little more drama so it didn't seem quite so out of place for him. Sometimes I would roll my eyes at how overdone they could be. I'm hoping it was just due to this being a more dramatic story. This is the first book I've ever listened to narrated by these two. Because I liked their voices themselves, I will definitely see what else they have out there. So I just don't want this review to come out completely negative all the way around because it really wasn't bad

It's annoying enough that they are plane partners and have to sit next to each other through the entire flight to Italy for their senior class trip, but things go from bad to worse when their plane makes an emergency stop. Their lives unexpectedly change as soon as Kayla follows Evan into a dark corridor and, right after, things just escalate from worse to tragic.

this story has a lot happening in it! honestly a couple if times I struggled following along, but that's on me and my mind wandering, and the fact that so much happened. you can't zone out for a second or you'll get lost. I really like the narrator, I've listened to a few books she's done now, and she's really good about making her voice different for the characters (both male and female) without sounding cheesy. this was a new to me author, and you could tell by a couple of things that she's not American (using the metric system!) but the overall story was good. I wouldn't mind another book about Kayla and Evan, maybe a little further down the road about where they ended up kind of thing.

The first time I saw Saxton Crawford we were in high school. He was the football star and I was just another invisible teenage girl. Now, he is a famous quarterback and the bane of my existence. And by bane, I mean his presence has brought back 10 years of secrets. Ones I'd thought I'd dealt with. The minute he walks back into my life I become that bumbling teenage girl all over again. I’m not having it! Even if the quarterback only has eyes for me. He's irresistible, too handsome for his own good, cocky, and carrying baggage no one wants.

This is a new to me author, so I didn't know what to expect. It was a lot more exciting than I expected going in. It was a good story overall. I'll have definitely have to check out some other books.

I've listened to another book from this narator before. I like her a lot. She does a good job with voices, especially doing both male and female, and even with an accent this time! I won't hesitate to listen to anything else she does.

I didn't know a thing about this author or narator when I started. I hate the description of inspirational though. as I'm new to the book world, I didn't know that meant Christian or religious. I didn't mind it though. it wasn't preachy in an annoying way, at least to me. the way the story is written, you don't notice the lack of swearing or sex. I wouldn't hesitate to check out more books by this author. the narator took me a couple chapters to get into, but after that it was smooth sailing. I don't mind a woman doing the men's parts, after a minute, you don't even notice.

I listened to the first book in the series, so I was familiar with Michelle already. I wasn't sure how her story was going to go, since she was basically the mean girl in book 1 (I didn't read or listen to book 2). Ranier was the perfect person for her to help her get herself together. This is a clean story, no sex at all, and I don't recall any swearing either. it's a younger audience than what I normally go for, but wasn't bad. the narrator was decent too, not making it sound awkward doing both male and female parts.

first, let me talk about the narration. I'm not an expert on audio books, I've only listened to make a dozen, so I've not heard these two before, but I liked them. the part that was unusual to me was they didn't intermingle their parts. he did a chapter, she did a chapter. every other book I've listened to with dual narration, the male did the lead man part and the female did the woman lead part. so it was different for me to hear it done this way. I didn't love it, but didn't hate it either.

the story itself I liked. I read it before I listened to it. it's a good start for the series, you get introduced to most of the characters that you'll get to know better as the series goes on, but it's not done in an overwhelming manner like I've seen before. it's not my favorite book of the series, but important in my opinion to lay the ground work

I read this book before I actually listened to it, but I love the story. I love the whole series. I deducted one star for narration, but it's more because of personal preference. This was the first audiobook I've ever listened to where there is a male narrator doing the female parts. For the most part it wasn't bad. But when he was doing Katie and a female Southern Voice, it just didn't work for me. But other than that, his voice is an amazing to listen to. Especially the non dialog parts.

this set was really cute. It covers so many different characters, you never have a chance to get bored. I never read the book, I've only listen to it. I am not a big-time audiobook person, so I don't have much to compare it to, but I did like the narrator. She didn't try and force male voices to sound overly deep or masculine, and I actually like that, it worked for her. I had no trouble following along with all the different characters too even though it was all voiced with one narrator.

this was a bit younger than what I normally read/listen too, but it wasn't a bad story at all, just very teen angsty. I was amused that the main character was from California, but the narator has a very Wisconsin/Midwest accent. it all depends on what you normally read, but for the genre it was a good story. this is the first book I've listened to from this narator and I won't have issue listening to anything else she does. she was good at doing both male and female. sometimes it sounds weird, but this one was pretty seemless

This is probably my favorite book by this author. I've actually read it twice, so I was all about listening to it too. I love these 2 narators for this story. I'm fine with one person on other books, but I think this story would not have been as good if it was just 1 narator. They both do a good job in my opinion of making themselves sound different enough that you know what they're other characters besides Tavish and Laticia. I'm happy to say I enjoyed listening to this book just as much as I did in reading it. It's a long one, but so worth it.
