Joe Kenda investigated 387 murder cases during his 23 years with the Colorado Springs Police Department and solved almost all of them. And he is ready to detail the cases that are too gruesome to air on television, cases that still haunt him, and the few cases where the killer got away. These cases are horrifyingly real, and the detail is so mesmerizing you won't be able to turn it off.

I bought this book because this is a completely new domain to me, other than what we see in movies!

The narration and book design were great and engaging. This book goes beyond crime stories to life lessons. It also shows how much law enforcement officers have to go through because of these crimes.

Highly recommended.

I was hooked to this book from the start. It is well read and well designed. I admired the shear will to live in Hyeonseo and she is the true definition of grit and persistence. Going through the many challenges and disappointments in her journey to freedom, I gave up many times and she never did.

Any one living in free world can never relate to her story. The main lesson I learned beside appreciating my God given right to freedom, is not to complain again no matter what.

Finally, a warning to the listener; as this is a very engaging and emotional book, at times, I felt down after having listening to it, so just realize this to overcome it.

Ask yourself this question before you purchase this book. Is it to save money? Is it convenience, flexibility and freedom? Is it to learn about what is happening in that domain?

This subject is the next evolution in education that didn't finalize yet, but the book did not take it from that perspective and I thought the subject was being reduced to recommendations on specific courses and later advice on how to land a job. Thus, I believe it went into details that might not apply to all types of readers. Even though, I think it is a good start to learn about education.

This book is sort of giving you the fish rather than teaching you to hunt!

I'm not sure how scientific this book is and whether the methodology used is credible, however I believe it is a very interesting book and can shed a light on the different types of personalities.

It led me to think about my behavior repeatedly to check whether my personality fits the description because sometimes I would skew towards another one. I guess it has to do with a certain mindset

I think this is something that requires further research and investigation. Also, it can be integrated with other personality type indicators such as MBTI to provide a wider view in the subject

I read many books about self-motivation, self improvement and business, thus my low review of the book might have been influenced by this fact!

I decided to buy this book, having seen the high reviews and read some. I thought it would bring forward a thick substance to an well-treaded subject course, but I was wrong.

The book lacks focus and more about reinforcing certain perceptions the author has about leadership and managed to engrain this into his cast.

I would classify this in the beginner's guide section more than gaining real knowledge if you are an avid reader (listener).

Start with Why shows that the leaders who've had the greatest influence in the world all think, act, and communicate the same way - and it's the opposite of what everyone else does. Sinek calls this powerful idea The Golden Circle, and it provides a framework upon which organizations can be built, movements can be led, and people can be inspired. And it all starts with why.

I listened intently to the book and all the way was trying to extract meanings and teachings that I can apply to my life. Unfortunately, the book came mainly as thoughts and fables that carry a resemblance to what the author is trying to affirm.

I would have liked the author to present better rationale to our streamline of thinking such as building a scenario or extrapolating answer gradually for a certain dilemma.

The subject is great. Book is not!

Eileen Sharp and Vic Hightower were frustrated. After years of profitable, predictable growth, Swan Services was in a rut. Meetings were called and discussions held, but few decisions were made and even less got done. People were pointing fingers and assigning blame, but nothing happened to solve Swan’s mounting problems. It felt as though they were working harder than ever but with less impact. The company Eileen and Vic had founded and built for 10 years was a different place. It just wasn’t fun anymore.
