I expected my new assistant to be professional and punctual, but all I'm getting are dirty looks and rude comments. I should fire the little hellion, but instead all I can think about is bending her over my desk and breaking every rule I've ever made for myself. One look. One touch. One night. If we break the rules, our lives will never be the same again. Good thing rules were made to be broken. And besides, it feels so good to tempt the boss.

first of all the woman narrator was horrible she always sounded like she was so surprised when speaking and she couldn't catch her breath. The man sounded like he had a cold when he was reading and it sounded like he needed to sneeze so he made me sneeze every time I heard him read that was not fun I didn't get past the fourth chapter the story was okay. but it would have been better if they would have used different narrators.

1st of all I liked that the author brought two different people from different cultures together. She made them come alive to me.
2nd I like that the beautiful Cuban man did not let Nay sayers opinions her detour him from seeing the most beautiful woman Inside that she was Inside. 3rd I like that the African American in this story was well to do and she was well educated, and we'll spoken.
this is one book thatcI,will not be giving back . please give us more delicious books like this one.. yummy!!

First of all the narrator needed to blow her nose. Second this book gave me a headache I found it difficult to Finnish. because book was full of sadness and fighting and loss. That's a lot for one book.
so I fast forwarded through 4 chapters.
and at last when I did manage to finnish. I was drained emotionally. I read books to escape. This book just agitated me so much bacause of all of heavy muddy feelings, let's not talk about the wining and lieing and hiding true feelings. Sorry to say I don't think that I will listen to any other books from this author.
To be fair I have tried 4 others and all but 1 left me feeling lost.
