I thought the 50 Shades... series told by Christian is much better that the original. I loved finding out Christian's feelings. He is a more complex character than Ana. The first two books are great and I hope there is a third. The narrator is excellent.

Hannah Malone loves her new town. Despite living in Cunningham Falls for five years, she's still considered a "move in" by most of the locals, and that doesn't bother her in the least. She's the "new girl", and she hasn't regretted it for one day. This town is her sanctuary. Her home. The one place she finally fits in and feels safe after a lifetime of being different and running from the memories and a past so far away it can't haunt her anymore.

She's definitely not prepared to engage in her very first hookup with him. Then Izzy wakes up the next morning in Johnny Gamble's bed, and good girl Izzy finds she likes being bad for Johnny. Even so, Izzy feels Johnny holding her at arm's length. He's in love with someone else. Someone who left him and did it leaving him broken.

I am a fan of Kristen Ashley. However, I hesitated buying this novel because of the title of the series. I thought the story would be focused around a garage but was pleasantly surprised that the garage was not a major backdrop. Glad to have no motorcycles and tattoos in this beautiful love story.

Dear Agony, You've been my shadow, following me through childhood - filling my days and nights with terror and uncertainty. You cleverly disguised yourself as some form of pain or suffering as I grew into a young woman. We were unwavering companions...until I severed our ties. I traded homelessness on the streets of New Orleans for a luxurious bed covered by the finest linens. I traded Dumpster diving for dinner in the finest restaurants. I traded myself to a stranger - Bastien Pascal.

He was someone who belonged in my wildest fantasies instead of a rest stop in the middle of Nebraska. A sexy, cocky Australian named Chance was the last person I expected to run into on my cross-country drive. When my car broke down, we made a deal. Next thing I knew, we were traveling together, spending sexually tense nights in hotels, and taking unplanned detours. My ordinary road trip turned into the adventure of a lifetime. It was all fun and games until things got intense.
