Is there anything you would change about this book?

The narrator

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Different narrator.

What didn’t you like about Victoria McGee’s performance?

I have listened to Audible Books going on 5 years now and I have never heard a narrator so boring. She was to unemotional, lacked pitch in tones, and read so slow. I could only listen to about 50 minutes of the book which is a shame because I am one that likes to buy a whole series one right after the other in sequence. I have never stopped listening to a book because of the narrator. It was just to painful for me to sit for 10 hrs and listen to her. I like a reader with passion for the story, and reflects that in their speech. This was like pulling teeth. I am going to buy the book instead. Maybe I will be able to go on to the 2nd audible book in the series then. Her voice was so monotone and stayed on the same low note as if you were playing an oboe on one note only. You could not tell the difference in characters until she would reference the other person(s).I will be sure to not get another book with her as the narrator. Hopefully I can get her tone out of my head before I read the book myself.Sorry, thist was just torture. I felt no passion or emotion from her at all.I drive for long hrs at a time and enjoy Audible so much. But this would have put me to sleep while driving.Sincerely,Displeased listener

Did A Quick Bite inspire you to do anything?

Quit listening.

Any additional comments?

I will not buy another book with her as the narrator.

Where does Honor rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

As usual, I was not disappointed in Janet Dailey's ability to capture you and bring you in right from page one (or from beginning to end). I can hardly wait for the next book in this trilogy! Thank you Janet for another job well done. I rank this in my top 5.

What does Brian Hutchison bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He made me feel as if I was right there in the story myself. I had trouble sitting still (if you know what I mean).
