Over 4,000 students gathered at the University of Michigan to hear Republican Party candidate Ron Paul speak. As he began to address the topics of monetary policy and the coming depression, a chant rose from the crowd, "End the Fed! End the Fed!" As dollar bills were lit on fire and thrown into the night skies, it became clear that the real problem, one that nobody in the media was talking about, was the central bank-an unconstitutional entity and a political, economic, and moral disaster.

Ron Paul did excellent work in creating this book. He keeps the book full of fact based subject matter but allows enough breathing room to keep it intresting. I believe every American should read this book to come to an understanding of the problems our nation will face if we do nothing. The book is full of great hisorical facts from as early as the 1700's to our current present era.

I purchased this book expecting to be bored to death but considered it a must read. I have truly enjoyed every minute of this book. The narration is incredible and flows smoothly. The information is full of historical facts. The principles of the book hold true. This is a MUST read, but... do not expect to be bored.

From massive government spending to media declarations of the death of capitalism, Glenn Beck hears the sounds of boots marching America toward a system of government that bears a closer resemblance to socialism with each passing day. To document this, he focuses on stories that range from the headlines to more obscure local stories that might otherwise be overlooked.

Information Great - Background Music not so much!

Overall

Thank you Glenn for the wonderful dead on information! However the background music is quite annoying while trying to listen to the important substance of information you are trying to share. Maybe use the music to intro and outro the chapters but turn it off during the chapter!
