What do you do when the past refuses to stay dead and buried? Six months have passed since the explosion at Platinum Industries. For the first time in our lives, Bandit and I knew what it felt like to be with a loving family, and it was a lot like getting to eat a main and dessert every day, for every meal (and having starved on the streets for so long, everyone knows how much I like my food).

I'd been living on the streets for around eight months before I lost count. It wasn't easy, but it was still preferable to what I had to deal with at home. In all that time, unable to trust anyone, I had been alone (I knew from experience that people always failed you). Then one day, while out searching for food, I stumbled upon this mangy dog being attacked. It wasn't a big deal to help him, but then he ended up saving my life which is when I realized there was something special about him: Muttface wasn't a normal dog - he was crazy intelligent. I'm talking Mensa levels. And he wasn't an accident either, having recently escaped from a mysterious lab.

This book grabbed me quickly from the start and held my attention through out. I grew to care about the characters and their interactions early on and enjoyed how the author advanced the relationships. The narrator is one of my faves with her perfect pacing and distinct character voices she brings this story to life in such a way that I found it difficult to put down. There are so many unanswered questions and with this book ending on a cliffhanger I am definitely excited for book 2.

A gripping psychological thriller. Inspired by a serial killer in a small town, this suspenseful novel is filled with sizzling chemistry and dark secrets. Girl Gone Ghost is a murder mystery that leaves you guessing who the killer is until the very end. A cheerleader with a reputation. A ghost who wants justice. Two lives bound together until the killer is found. Sonora's popularity means more to her than a new Michael Kors purse.
