I read (listened really) a parallel book series from Beth about some of the characters, except it being in Paradise- it was in Colorado. Katie Ann was in it. So I decided to go back to the beginning. This series of "The Daughters of Promise" come first, then the other series. It was great to learn a lot of the back story of several of them. The book about Katie Ann was superb. Great series both of them. On to the third one. I liked this one better than I thought I would. Carley was great.

Where does Plain Perfect rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It ranks near the top of the list.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Plain Perfect?

When i found out who Samual and David were and finding out how he met his wife, sine i already knew they where married since i already read boom 3 with Sadie and Cade.

What does Renee Ertl bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Well i read the book that i bought on Amazon. I wanted to listen to it as well. The emotion, and hearing some tell the story is different than reading for me.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

A lot of the book moved me. Towards the end when Samuel and his not yet wife sat on, i think the hill and talked.

Any additional comments?

I read and listen to the third book in this series with Sadie and Cade. It was soo good. I then listened to the Land of Cananan series with Sarah and David. I thought i was missing a lot so i decided i needed to go back to the beginning and start at this one. Since i already knew who Sadie, Sara jane and The grandpa. It was great filling in the blanks!

Sadie always believed in God's promises. But can she really trust his heart? In this third audiobook of the Daughters of Promise series, young Amish widow Sadie Fisher leads a simple life in the quiet countryside of Lancaster County - selling Amish goods to a steady stream of tourists. Though it is a good life, lately she's wondered if it is God's will for her to remain without a husband and a family.
