Solid 3 stars

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Expected story line but cute.

How could the performance have been better?

The reader was very unsuited for the book and even detracted from the story. It would have been better for someone with a less mechanical delivery.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I could barely get through it due to the reader but the story was decent.

Any additional comments?

I would have liked it better had I read it myself. I found it a little old fashioned in its context even for a faith based story but quaint enough to enjoy.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

The story really should have begun and ended in one book. Finding out there are several other parts is irritating.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

The ending just dropped off so you would have to read the other books and this one should not have stood alone.

What aspect of Stacey Pearson’s performance would you have changed?

The performance was not exciting but that may have been due more to the writing.

What character would you cut from Home Is Where The Heart Is (A Billionaire BWWM Interracial Romance Book 1)?

The love interests were absolutely needed but any of the other characters could have been left out.

Any additional comments?

Please stop with the mention of 50 shades the, first time we got the point. Also, there were many other adjectives other than perfect to be used. Overall I would not have bought this book but the love scenes were actually good.

A good read for those who enjoy romance novels. The story brought to mind "The Taming of the Shrew" without the Elizabethan verbiage. Although I would have loved for the Fake father to get his just deserts. .

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this book because the storyline is very romantic. I love the idea of being in love like most women. However I didn't enjoy the book fully due to the way the book skipped, which was completely annoying. In reference to the characters, I did think the female character was a little unrealistic in her attempt to not be labeled a gold digger.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character was the Simon, Who doesn't love a hot boy.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narrator was decent.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I drive 45mins in one direction to work so I heard a great portion of the story. t took me three days to hear it completely. I actually liked the breaks because it gave me something to focus on during ugly moments in traffic.

Any additional comments?

Not certain if it is due to my cell phone or the download, the reason I experienced trouble but I am likely going to try other books by the same author in the future.
