I really wanted to like it, but I ended up no liking it at all.
The torture.....was torture.
Main character is all powerful, but has one spell and dare not use his power with out becoming evil or passing out like every other magic user.
For a different world in another dimension from earth they some how knew the f-bomb well.
Too much familiarity with whole world of characters. Somehow everyone’s a sister or cousin!

Hands down, the best series in the genre. From one of the scariest ways the shtf in borrowed world to suggestions of how power would be redistributed in switched on, this collection delivers on action and suspense!
Franklin Horton is not afraid to kill of main characters, which keeps the stories suspenseful! Switched on is such a good addition to the borrowed World Series....Franklin Horton should be proud! Keep them coming! And thank you as well for the mad mick...crossover!?

Book 5 valley of vengeance did not let down. It was such a good end to the series(if it is the end). Just a smash series and FH should be proud of this one.
Just a note. Franklin Horton has a talent that is rare in the fact that his descriptions of scenes make them jump out in your mind, and he can be very dark sometimes to give you chills. Please please please start another series in the same apoc setting!!! Maybe in a different part of the states and not part of locker nine.....pleeease!!!?

The only possible thing that could make Morgan's world even more difficult happened. The Japanese fleet off the coast of California was wiped out. An even that Morgan and friends and family only knew about because of the radio broadcasts from the Radio Free Redoubt. So far removed from them it barely warranted notice. That is until the Chinese retaliated by launching a nuclear counter-strike against Mac Dill Air Force base. This, did warrant their attention and had the potential to profoundly impact their lives.

I really like the story line of the going home series and all the characters. But I really think AA should have stopped after avenging home. What has happened (in my opinion) is the storyline has gone on too far and AA has written his story into a corner. I hope he doesn’t get to let down with this review cause he’s a great writer, but I feel like this one was very slow. Hope either an end to the series comes up next or this one is the end so AA can start a brand new storyline.

Another solid book in this series!
Spoiler alert***

Sam and Tanners relationship goes deeper in this book, the banter they share is some of the best parts of the series.

I really did laugh out loud when they found the country squire!

The trouble that Mason gets into is good too. I really enjoyed the gunfight contest. The description of the weapons the characters have is well done without being too technical. One gem that sticks out is the description of the nighthawk VIP.

Overall great book! Thanks Arthur T. Bradley!

This book is good, because of the fantasy mixed with the mysterious disappearance of the 9th legion. Slow to start because of the background that had to be laid down. But it had to be laid down. I loved it though! Lots of craveable action and leads to a wanting for the next book!
Spoiler alert***.
I beg the author that in the next book to keep with the "romans don't take crap from anyone" attitude. I absolutely loved when the orc was going to try to curse the romans saying "my dark lord is coming...". And they killed him right then and there! I love the strength exhuded by the 9th!!! Great book!!
