Morgan and his extended family could see the light at the end of the tunnel, dim though it may be. There was the promise of power once again. The plant was being repaired, and it looked as though it may actually run. While it meant lots of hard, sweaty work, the reward was worth the investment. The farm was growing strong, and community involvement was good. People were finally coming to terms with the fact that they needed to work together. So far Mother Nature had been on their side. But that, too, was about to change.

This book, while a bit slower paced than the others, was a refreshing visit with Morgan and crew. They're like old friends at this point, the kind you don't see all the time, but always enjoy their company immensely. The scene is now set for a much larger showdown in the series.
Keep up the great work!

Perhaps the best book of the series since Book 1, although they have all been excellent. This one puts a nice bow on the whole "event," but leaves the door open for more adventure if the author is so inclined.

These authors and this narrator just keep the hits rolling. I am loving this storyline and all the characters. Kevin Pierce is the best narrator I've ever heard, always making the people, places, and situations come to life in a way that only he can.
Keep'em coming gents!

This was excellent 2nd book in the series and a phenomenal performance by the narration team. I have so many books narrated by Kevin Pierce I've lost count. He is like an old friend telling a story and makes the characters seem very real. Beckett Royce does an excellent job and the concept of male/female narration is a good idea. Can't wait for the next one!
