Stanley is a typical high school student trying to find his way through the hierarchy of study and popularity. Nobody wants to spend time with him, and even his crush turned him down nine times. He spends most of his time alone in the house, cursing his mother and blaming her for driving his father away. He has a preoccupation with all things horror, and his love goes beyond just watching the movies; he wants to be the star of the show.

Whispering Pines is a classic, quiet, private American subdivision on the edge of Asheville, NC, set in the pristine Blue Ridge Mountains. Which is good since the zombie apocalypse has come to Western North Carolina and really put suburban living to the test! Surrounded by a sea of the undead, the residents of Whispering Pines have adapted their bucolic life of block parties to scavenging parties, common area groundskeeping to immediate area warfare, neighborhood beautification to neighborhood fortification.

He made everyone think he was dead. The Police told everyone that it was safe again. Safe to go outside, safe to lead a normal life. The problem? They were all wrong! The Stranger is back with a thirst for blood, and a sick, twisted desire to kill, torture, and maim. If you thought book one was gruesome, you were sadly mistaken. Book two is a high-octane extreme horror thriller like you have not heard before. Very few boundaries were left untouched. The one question, can the Stranger be stopped finally?
