April Hamilton wants you to know she hasn’t been on Craigslist since that time she sold her futon after college. She doesn’t even spend that much time online. And even if she did, she would not be looking up personal ads. But going home alone for her family's summer reunion is an invitation for every single relative to butt into her personal life. She simply can’t handle another blind date with the butcher, the baker, or the candlestick maker from her hometown. So when she finds the Craigslist ad for a boyfriend-for-hire, she’s ready to pay to play.

I really do like this book so far and the story. I have 2 hours left to listen to. The only thing I do not like is the female narrator. She drags out her words. Instead of April, it's Aprilllllll. Instead of Chapter thirty three, it's chapter thirty threeee. Exactlyyyyy. Dayyyyy. Sevennnn. Reflectionnnnn. Reallllll. Delightfullllll. I have noticed many times and I find it annoying. I like this book very much though.

Jennifer Sylvester wants one thing, and that one thing is not to be Tennessee's reigning Banana Cake Queen. Ever the perpetual good girl and obedient daughter, Jennifer is buckling under the weight of her social media celebrity, her mother's ambitions, and her father's puritanical mandates. Jennifer is officially desperate. And desperate times call for Cletus Winston.

What did you love best about Beard Science?

This book is great. I love how she is going through each of the Winston brothers and how they each have their own stories. This was the best so far.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Beard Science?

Jennifer approaching Cletus with her blackmail and finally standing up to her parents. Her freedom.

What about Joy Nash and Chris Brinkley ’s performance did you like?

They have been great with every Winston Brothers book. I like that the book has both a male and female narrators for the lead characters. They sound like how I would envision their characters talking.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No. I drive 50 minutes to work every day and these books fill my drive time every day.

Any additional comments?

You should buy this book.

After losing her boyfriend, apartment, and job in the same day, Janie Morris can't help wondering what new torment fate has in store. To her utter mortification, Quinn Sullivan- aka Sir McHotpants- witnesses it all then keeps turning up like a pair of shoes you lust after but can't afford. The last thing she expects is for Quinn - the focus of her slightly, albeit harmless, stalkerish tendencies - to make her an offer she can't refuse.

Would you listen to Neanderthal Seeks Human again? Why?

Yes I would and I already have. This is a very funny book. The story is great. It is also a clean book. There is very little swearing. There is a bit of sex, but the words she uses hints towards sex but doesn't say sex.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Neanderthal Seeks Human?

I found it very funny when ladies are trying to get someone to leave they say, "Make like a shepherd and get the flock out of here." I've used that phrase since listening to this book. Quick wit.

What does Jennifer Grace bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I am falling in love with audio books. Her voice is pleasant. I definitely listen to another book she reads.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

My extreme reaction was to buy three of her other books right away. This is a LOL book.

Any additional comments?

I have since bought three other of Penny Reid's books. They are clean and funny.
