A social experiment (a scary but exciting concept): marry a total stranger, live together for six months, and journal everything. Feelings. Fights. All of it. After six months, we each get $50,000 in exchange for our journals, whether we stay married or not. But the goal is to commit to the experience and see if the relationship experts could put together the perfect matches. I have never been lucky in love. This was my chance to find my soulmate. I couldn't wait to meet the man the experts felt was perfect for me.

The story is sweet and easy to listen to and Elizabeth Hart does a good job with her narration. But I found Sean Crisden's voice too nasal for my liking.

The story is fast paced and an emotional ride. The main character Caine's character is very well developed and multidimensional. The narration is faultless. My only complaint is that some of its plot devices are very cliched and predictable. This is however forgivable only because the story is executed well and interesting despite the cliches.

Lucy Hutton has always been certain that the nice girl can get the corner office. She's charming and accommodating and prides herself on being loved by everyone at Bexley & Gamin. Everyone except for coldly efficient, impeccably attired, physically intimidating Joshua Templeman. And the feeling is mutual.

Loved the romance. The tension is just right for the enemies-to-lovers trope mixed with a good amount of humour. The narration was a bit frustrating because most of the time I couldn't distinguish between Josh's and Lucy's voices so it could get confusing. Having said that the narrator has a pleasant voice so I'd still give the narration 4 stars. The story itself definitely deserves 5+ stars. I'd highly recommend it.

First of all, Julia Whelan is now officially on my favourite narrators list. Her voice is easy on the ear and shows a full range of emotions. She's certainly enhanced the story with her performance.

As for the story itself. Wow that was such a fun and very sweet fairytale full of romance and adventure! It's light hearted yet not light on twists and turns. This is the first book of Stacey Jay that I've read but I now look forward to checking out her other works.

Loved the story cause it's so entertaining, with interesting characters and lots of actions. Doran's character arc is amazing. The romance is delicious as you witness these two characters who couldn't stand each other grow to appreciate each other and fall in love.

It's a bit unfortunate however that I didn't like the narration. It's not bad, but too often I had to guess which character was the one speaking as the narrator's voices for different characters were hardly distinguishable.

After a case of mistaken identity, Jessica finds herself in a massive confusion kerfuffle. She has spent her whole life paralyzed by the fantasy of Beau and her assumptions of Duane's disdain; therefore she's unprepared for the reality that is Duane's insatiable interest, as well as his hot hands and hot mouth and hotter looks. Not helping Jessica's muddled mind and good girl sensibilities, Duane seems to have gotten himself in trouble with the local biker gang, the Iron Order.

I found the story dragged on a bit with a lot of unnecessary details that didn't enhance to the story plot in anyway. It wasn't particularly memorable and the writing style was quite ordinary. Still, it was a pleasant enough listening experience, thanks to the excellent narration and likeable characters.

An unforgettable new novella from number-one New York Times best-selling author Jamie McGuire. Everything about Abby and Travis’s elopement was top-secret… until now. Fans of Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster will get all of their questions answered in this whirlwind tale of the wedding day (and night!) - and as with all good stories, this one will definitely have been worth the wait.

Argh! I wondered what made me purchase this book, what was I thinking!! Beautiful Disaster was alright but shouldn't have compelled me to spend 3 extra hours listening to whatever this is..... with no real storyline or character development whatsoever. It's like a fan-fiction written with the sole purpose of satisfying fans of Travis and Abby. And perhaps that was indeed the author's intention to which I'd say, fair enough.

I'll however point out that the most enjoyable part of this listening experience was Zachary Webber's narration. Having listened to quite a few books narrated by him I knew he never disappoints with his performance. And that just reminded me why I bothered getting this novella in the first place :)
