Story so far does have a lot about zombies and for the main character to be a cop he made a lot of dump decisions. Also he care more about his “job” than his family’s safety. Out chasing a criminal instead of protecting his home and family. What did he think would happen when he gone all day thinking up dump shit to do. Which at the end helped no one and got people killed. Storyline went in to many directions.

Insisting she saw the victim rise from a pool of his own blood to attack the Samaritan rendering aid, Tara floats the idea that the man may have been a zombie.

Great story !!! however I just felt for an army vet Lee should have a bit more sharper. Why he didn’t take a gun when they escaped the first quarantine center that made no sense at all. Even sister his kept saying it would have been nice to have that gun. Also I hated the voice the narrator use for Lee made him sound like a goofball. Loved Steve O he is hilarious. I’m looking forward to Book 2 .

I have read many many zombie apocalypse books but these characters are some the dumbest people yet. How do you have cop not wanting to kill someone with infection if he is not feeling threatened. He turned he back and the guy almost killed him. Ellie there no words for her stupidity. Bill is not even worth talking about. Amanda at least has some survival skills. I’m only going to finish because I want to see who survives and who doesn’t and if the story gets better and the people get more in tune to surviving instead of wanting to help infected people that want to kill them. I’ll do another review when I finish.

They are coming. The countdown has begun. First visible only as blips on a telescope image, the discovery of objects approaching from Jupiter's orbit immediately sets humanity on edge. NASA doesn't even bother to deny the alien ships' existence. The popular Astral space app (broadcasting from the far side of the moon and accessible by anyone with Internet) has already shown the populace what is coming.

First the narrator was horrible. She read like someone being forced to read out loud and she made lots of mistakes and I’m surprised they were not edited out. The story the main character was just plain stupid and pathetic if I heard her say “I’m afraid of being alone, I don’t want to be alone” Where is Jim one more time I was going to scream. I have no desire to listen to the second book because don’t care what happens to them.

I really liked the story and can’t wait for book 2 I hope book 2 has more about appearance of the Treaters. The one thing I really found annoying is they were almost killed twice because they stopped to have sex. It didn’t make sense when they were not in a safe place at the time. One place was in her home and she was grieving because her family was gone and then they have sex and fall asleep!! Ridiculous! I hope they are smarter and are more survival conscious in the next book .

This thrilling new novel tells the story of a soccer mom turned soldier. Shay Donovan is separated from her family during an outbreak where millions of infected humans become enraged, destroying in their path and killing anyone they see. Shay finds herself in a brutal fight for her life in a desperate attempt to find her husband and two young daughters. This novel, is much different than other zombie stories. Shay is an average American house wife, finds herself alone during an outbreak where those who are infected become enraged.

I have a lot of zombie apocalypse books (a lot I love Z A books ) but I swear Shay and her husband JT and dumbest two people I have ever read about. Her attitude about guns and killing people have no fit for the zombie apocalypse unbelievable she let her sister be killed because she couldn’t pick up a gun. I should’ve, stopped reading then and her husband’s best friend is a Special Forces you think he would’ve learned something from him. This definitely was one of the worst zombie apocalypse stories I have read and I have no interest in reading the next book.... Sorry :-(
