Any additional comments?

I have to admit I was a little hesitant to read this book being the father of three kids. This book turned out to be not only enlightening but fun, emotional, and entertaining as well. The narration was slightly lacking in quality but decent. Good book overall.

Never a dull moment in this book. Complex plotline, characters and setting. This book was both entertaining while still being intellectually fulfilling. One of the best books I've listened to.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I already have, so yes. This series has been great. It's clean, fun, entertainment. Each book has left me waiting for the next.

What other book might you compare Obsidian Threads to and why?

Maybe the lost gate by orson scott card. It compares to his writing because it is full of fun fantasy but also has enough sci-fi to challenge you intellectually. The series pulls from the best of both worlds.

Which scene was your favorite?

When the enemy girl gets a light globe shoved into her chest. I always love those "take that" moments in a story where the enemy gets what is coming to them.

Where does The Lost Art: A Romantic Comedy rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is definitely at the top for it's genre. I am more of a sci-fi/fantasy fan but decided to branch out a little. It didn't take long to get pulled into the story.

What did you like best about this story?

Probably the characters. They aren't all exactly what they seem and it keeps the story interesting.

What does Natalie Duke bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She did an awesome job with the narration. Having a good reader always brings the story to life in a way that i just don't get reading it myself.
