Anna Fox lives alone - a recluse in her New York City home, unable to venture outside. She spends her day drinking wine (maybe too much), watching old movies, recalling happier times...and spying on her neighbors. Then the Russells move into the house across the way: a father, mother, their teenaged son. The perfect family. But when Anna, gazing out her window one night, sees something she shouldn't, her world begins to crumble. And its shocking secrets are laid bare.

When I first started this book I found it on Kindle eBooks but I am not much of a reader. I do about 99% of my books on audio so I only got a little ways in and had to put it down due to time constraints. When I discovered this book on audio, quite accidentally by browsing, I bought it before I even realized it was the one I had started reading, and of course, Audible let me pick it up right where I left off and I remembered everything that I had read. I thought that this author was one I had read before many times. I thought his name sounded familiar. The story was suspenseful with some ingenious twists. What more can I say, but that it is an awesome story?!I am so excited to hear that this was his first novel as I am actually working on my first one now and I cannot wait to read A. J. Finn again. The narrator also did a wonderful job of bringing these characters to life and making the story that much more enjoyable!

I have loved these books from the first. I felt like I'd been waiting for years for Julie's story and suddenly realized I had missed the first memoir. What a great idea to go back to the beginning. I never dreamed there could be someone as likeable as Owen, but Chad certainly is, or was. RIP. This book was GREAT! Full of the usual action and humor but brought me to tears in the end. There was no better ending for Ironhamd, and no better to tell the story than Earl. You all will love this one!

Scott Brick was fantastic as always! He has the perfect voice for a good old fashioned spooky story!

Jaws is the classic, blockbuster thriller that inspired the three-time Academy Award-winning Steven Spielberg movie and made millions of beachgoers afraid to go into the water. Experience the thrill of helpless horror again - or for the first time! Jaws was number 48 in the American Film Institute's 100 Years...100 Movies, and the film earned the coveted number-one spot on the Bravo network's 100 Scariest Movie Moments countdown.

I was very disappointed with this story. Jaws is one of my top 5 favorite movies of all time and I watch a LOT of movies. The character development just wasn't what I expected and the shark (referred to as a fish for most of the book) got hardly any page time. SPOILER ALERT The whole affair scene was so unnecessary, and Brody just wasn't a likable guy, nor was Ellen a likable gal. And Quint, he was way too nice. I guess it's hard to judge when you've seen the movie first, but in this case I have to say the movie was far better and that is NOT the norm for me. I only gave it the stars I did because it spawned a phenomenal movie!

This was a very entertaining story. It was well written , and narrated perfectly. One may think the author would be the perfect narrator since they know the characters better than anyone, but some people just don't have the voice for it. Catherine Steadman, on the other hand, did a superb job. I would listen to her narrate the phone book! The story was great and I LOVED the ending. Well done!

An 11-year-old boy's violated corpse is found in a town park. Eyewitnesses and fingerprints point unmistakably to one of Flint City's most popular citizens. He is Terry Maitland, Little League coach, English teacher, husband, and father of two girls. Detective Ralph Anderson, whose son Maitland once coached, orders a quick and very public arrest. Maitland has an alibi, but Anderson and the district attorney soon add DNA evidence to go with the fingerprints and witnesses. Their case seems ironclad.

I was so excited to see that Pet Sematary had finally come out in an audiobook. Such a Stephen King fan that I am I'm shocked that I never actually read this book. I did of course see the movie and enjoyed it immensely and have watched it several times since. I had been searching off and on for this on audio and saw that it was not available until the other day when I saw it had just come out in March. I was excited to say the least. I was even more excited when I discovered Michael C Hall was the narrator. Of course he did such a great job with Dexter and since narrating was a big part of that show he was perfect for this book. Once you seen a movie it's hard not to picture those characters and hear those voices in your head. He did a phenomenal job with all of them especially Judd. You will not be disappointed with this book. I just can't help but wonder if Mr. King has ever thought about what became of Ellie Creed.
