Every day we experience the uncertainty, risks, and emotional exposure that define what it means to be vulnerable or to dare greatly. Based on 12 years of pioneering research, Dr. Brené Brown dispels the cultural myth that vulnerability is weakness and argues that it is, in truth, our most accurate measure of courage. Brown explains how vulnerability is both the core of difficult emotions like fear, grief, and disappointment, and the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, empathy, innovation, and creativity.

I would recommend this book to anyone! I read about 3/4 from the book then the final 1/4 on audible. So glad I also discovered listening to Brene tell the stories which was a fun twist. So much to think about while reading. I feel so grateful for the support I feel I’ve always had. So much to digest regarding love and vulnerability. I could eat from this endless garden of knowledge everyday! In other words, I found a lot of comfort in this book, and have marked pages to reread as reminders and inspiration. Thank you Brene for Daring Greatly to share your research with the world.
