A lovely story about a town with magic, especially Zoe's aunt Sapphire who lives in a retired lighthouse with ten interesting cats and a ghost who can talk and interact but falls right through chair seats. A meteorologist in LA, Zoe drops everything and flies back home after a phone call from the hospital advising her that Sapphire has a head injury from a fall. Turns out that the fall was caused by surprise at finding intruders in her home.
Lots more, but you really have to read it to appreciate it!
B. J. Harrison is the marvelous narrator!

Detectives in a small town really have a hard time interviewing suspects! Who murdered the victim? The ex wife just out of prison, the current wife, the new lover, or is there a surprise suspect? What a mess! And the investigative partner is is the detective's non-LEO wife because there is no town budget for another detective, and this really makes for some good reads!
Carrie Burgess is excellent as narrator.

What's the sleuth to do when her good friend's murderer is acquitted, then murdered, and the woman's father turns himself in to the authorities, when he simply can't have done that murder? She investigates. And does an excellent job, too.
The narration by S.L. Crawley is very well done.

Be careful what you wish for; you just might get it.
Any history geek into restoration can tell horror stories to back up that old saw,but few have dealt with a *free* historical relic the size of a World War 2 bomber. Imagine. First to get it cleared of debris, hire a specialized professional moving company, disassemble then reassemble at home site, then deal with cosmetics. And all on donations and volunteer work.
Excellent rendition of all the work done and unfortunate complications done in a matter of fact manner until time for crowing when all is done but the admiration of fellow aficionados.
Number Three son will certainly try to take his young family to the museum in Savanna!
Bill Nevitt is perfect for narrating nonfiction with his obviously interested presentation and clear unaccented voice.

This is not The Crime Scene Cleaner from German TV, Ajax Clean is highly specialized and employed by big time criminals to erase all evidence that the hitman has done his job. He has a butler who is his backup and can hack into anything, a Haitian hitman he doesn't trust, a sister to protect who is a gifted forensic medical examiner, a Korean crime boss after him, and a black ops agency trying to blackmail him. I'd call this a testosterone fest but there's no erotica, just lots of action and no small amount of confusion. For me, the biggest question is: WHERE IS THE NEXT ONE!
The audio is narrated by Daniel F Purcell and he is great!

Ten years ago a twelve year old disappeared and no one who lived in the town then or since is unaffected. Nine months ago the Dahls moved into town and began to restore the historic home they bought while getting everything together to open a brand new business venture. Six months ago the husband abruptly died during the night. Now Maggie is still working toward that opening when her thrice divorced sister announces that she is moving in with her. The next thing she knows, she tries to return the cat to the odd cat lady next door but finds her body on the kitchen floor and a bloody hammer next to it. The publisher's blurb gives hints and there is no need for spoilers, but that is just the beginning of this suspenseful mystery with some very interesting characters.

Follow the money.
Never get complacent.
Blood diamonds are cursed.
Forensic accounting is waaaay above my pay grade, and I wouldn't even know how to follow the kind of money trail that's in this book. But reading it is a different story, the suspense just kept building! Even when I realized that I was in over my head, I just couldn't stop and research like I usually do because I just couldn't put it down! A real thrill ride.
The narrator extraordinaire is Petrea Burchard and she adds to everything.

nonfiction, medical, history *****

I can just see my adult kids roll their eyes at the idea of reading this book. As children of a nurse and with assorted family medical histories, they have been subject to lectures on their own personal medical histories plus the particulars of relatives throughout the twentieth century and beyond. The book is well written and should serve as a wake up call to those who speak medicalese. Having spent very many years translating medicalese to patients and others, I am afraid that the tone of the book is more like that of a thesis or dissertation and will miss the mark of teaching those who need the information most. But I do think that it belongs in paramedical curricula and continuing education.
Narrator John N Gully has an excellent delivery and has clearly researched pronunciations.

I would have preferred a roofie and a Bobbitt, but the Black Widow decided to fight the #metoo battle with murder. Tired of reading about the powerlessness of women who have been shamed as she had been, she travels to mete out dark justice. Walt is a PI and excop working with his brother in law and gets tangled in the moral dilemma. There is still plenty of situational and verbal humor, assistance from other retirees, and interesting plot twists. Very well done!
Lately I find myself playing the audio with George Kuch a little faster, but I think that's because I really want to get into the plot.

A nice Southern cozy complete with family squabbling, a stuttering romance, and plenty of gossipy neighbors. The ever absent mom rolls into town around the time that Roxy comes upon a murder scene involving her friend from the all volunteer animal shelter. Things only get crazier, and Roxy finds that she needs to dust off her law degree. The characters certainly are, and I'm not willing to do spoilers, but this is a really good read!
Madeline Mrozek narrates exceptionally well and gives the Southern charm without being syrupy.
