Thrown into the alternate universe of 14th-century England, 20th-century mathematician Jim Eckert and his wife, Angie, have become Sir James, Baron de Bois de Malencontri, and Lady Angela. A bit of a shock, but they'd coped with it. In fact they were dealing with their new life's hazards and magical manifestations just fine. Until Jim is suddenly transformed into a dragon. None too pleased about this latest turn of events, Jim turns for help to his neighbour, the magician S. Carolinus, who takes him on as an apprentice.

This was a great book. Read a hard copy many years ago and the audio was not a let down.

From the moment he set foot on it, Karl Rove has rocked Americas political stage. He ran the national College Republicans at 22, and turned a Texas dominated by Democrats into a bastion for Republicans. He launched George W. Bush to national renown by unseating a popular Democratic governor, and then orchestrated a GOP White House win at a time when voters had little reason to throw out the incumbent party.

I've had my head in the sand politically till just recently and this book brought me significant insight into Karl Rove. Thought Karl was honest and it showed where he stands politically.

I thought the evidence in this book wasn't well supported. There wasn't enough support material for the enviromental impact theories. I kept waiting for the evidence of his theories but he just kept stating the same things over and over and I stopped listening after 3 hours and never finished.
