Being a sentient spaceship really should be more fun. But after spreading out through space for almost a century, Bob and his clones just can't stay out of trouble. They've created enough colonies so humanity shouldn't go extinct. But political squabbles have a bad habit of dying hard, and the Brazilian probes are still trying to take out the competition. And the Bobs have picked a fight with an older, more powerful species with a large appetite and a short temper.

i read some of the one star reviews just to get an idea of why people didn't like it, as i had very much. they all sounded like whiney college safe spacer snowflakes! talking like it was supposed to have some super deep meaning or it couldn't be good. It is good because it entertains, period. Good job Mr. Taylor and great narrating Mr. Porter.

this book is outstanding and the narration it's just as good. it is a fairly unique storyline, which is hard to do in science fiction. it has just enough hard science fiction elements to make it nerd Worthy but is funny enough to keep you entertained throughout the entire storyline. I will definitely be getting the rest of the books in the series.

Set in present-day Los Angeles, Junk explores an epic conspiracy, one at work for thousands of years that involves total takeover of the planet Earth by aliens. In the wild, souped-up vision of Les Bohem - the acclaimed, Emmy-winning writer of the Steven Spielberg miniseries, Taken - the world is at the end stage of long-range plot that involves a gigantic genetic-engineering project. The aliens who have invaded us have no planet. No spaceship is coming. Instead, a small advance force comes, breeds, and dies - thus becoming an anomaly in our DNA that can’t be explained.

I am a huge black company fan. The story was bad. It made no sense to me. I honestly feel like mr. cook wrote it because he was obligated to buy contract. It had the feeling of not wanting to be written and just thrown together for the sake of putting out the book. When I reread the entire series, as I have three or four times already. I will completely skip this book and act like it was never written.

Faced with overwhelming sadness and isolated from the world in his home on the lake, Peart was left without direction. That lack of direction lead him on a 55,000 mile journey by motorcycle across much of North America, down through Mexico to Belize, and back again.

I waited a long time to listen to this book. I was slightly disappointed. I think it may have been better if it was narrated by Neil Peart himself. There did not seem to be a lot of emotion where there should have been. The stories were good, and sometimes humorous, but mostly just there. I also was not a fan of the way it just stopped at the end. Like he got tired of writing. he'd never wrapped the story up to say how he had grown in my opinion. All in all, if it had not been written by Neil Peart, I probably would not have listened to the whole thing.

On Christmas Eve, 1818, in a small Austrian village, a local Catholic priest and a church organist composed a Christmas carol that changed the course of holiday music forever. Exactly two hundred years later, it’s not the holiday season until you’ve heard “Silent Night” in the car, at the store and on TV – all in the same day.

In Jingle Bell Pop, John Seabrook, acclaimed author of The Song Machine, takes us deep inside the holiday music business. We go behind the scenes to meet some of the producers, songwriters and recording artists responsible for the timeless tunes we hear on repeat between Thanksgiving and Christmas every year.

James Marsters performance is top-notch. even all the short stories suck you in immediately. on top of all of that they are incredibly entertaining and very funny. I would recommend them to anybody and have. I have not met one person who has read the books or listen to the audio books who have disliked them.
