I wasn’t sure if I’d like the story of Pandora but I took a chance and it’s the best in the series so far.

I loved this book from beginning to end. Marie Force knocks them out of the Park every time. This book has everything. Romance, Mystery, contemporary issues, angst with a bit of comedy thrown in. I can’t wait for March to read the next installment, Fatal Reckoning.

This one was the best in the series so far. That says a lot since all of them so far have been good. I’ll miss the Hathaway’s long after I finish the last book.

This book starts off a little slow, as in gets going about chapter three. This is a story about two co-workers who had previously had an affair and meet up later when they find out he's her new partner at work. He has baggage from his childhood that hampers his ability to commit. She only wants to date men who are ready for a commitment. Only they forgot to tell their hearts. This book is a good back and forth book with some good and some not so nice sub characters thrown in.
I think the narrator did a great job too. This was my first listen for this author and narrator and I'd definitely but another of her books.
This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review of the book.

Marie Force never disappoints. I love all of her books. It’s a toss though between the Gansett Island series or the Butler Mtn. series as to my favorite. But then I love the Fatal series too and... you get the point. I was so happy to read Wade & Mia’s story and extra happy that Fred the moose made another appearance. You won’t be disappointed with any Marie Force book you choose to read that’s for sure.

Would you try another book from Dakota Willink and/or Lacy Laurel and Jeffrey Kafer ?

Only if she gets a different narrator. The guy voice wasn't too bad but the female voice I just didn't like.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Crow.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The female voice was loud and if you turned the volume down, you couldn't hear the male voice. Very frustrating.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Heart of Stone: The Stone Series, Volume 1?

Some of the grocery scenes.

Any additional comments?

I received this book in exchange for a true unbiased review. Honestly, I just couldn't get into it. I think the female voice was the biggest obstacle.

Would you listen to Crow again? Why?

Yes and I plan on buying the other books in this series. I received this book free in exchange for an honest review. My honest opinion is that I was pleasantly surprised at how good this book was. The story is exactly how you'd think it'd be if you were involved with a high ranking Irish mobster.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Crow?

How he protected her from rival gangs.

What does Tracy Marks bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her accent is great.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Mack was caring for Crow and the wounded soldiers of the Mob
