Awkward? Maybe. But how else is a good girl going to find out if she likes being naughty? I might be sweet as cherry pie, but I'm also bold and damn curious. And Gabe is charming, trustworthy, aces at seduction (or so I hear) and - bonus! - willing to give me lessons. But to guarantee it won’t ruin our friendship, I have some specific requirements for his instruction. I want these classes to be hypothetical more than hands-on. So what if he’s hella sexy? I can handle that, no problem.

I absolutely adored Gabe and Arden's story! She is just such a sweet girl, and he is so swoon-worthy. Hot fireman with a heart of gold. Lauren Blakely has a way of injecting a ton of witty banter into her characters, which I love! Joe Arden and Erin Mallon knock it out of the park with their narration. I savored every minute of this book. So good! Take a listen. You won't regret it! I haven't met a Lauren Blakely book that I haven't liked. Always top notch narrators and excellent stories with a lot of heart!

Tony and Emmy Award-winner Billy Crystal leads an all-star cast including Oscar winner Kevin Kline (President David Murray) and four-time Oscar nominee Annette Bening (First Lady Katherine Murray) in a performance of this hilarious and poignant story about a man desperately scrambling to put his affairs in order: to save his presidency, his marriage, his relationship with his daughter – and possibly his life.

I thought this was wonderful! Billy Crystal and Kevin Kline are two of my favorite performers! The whole cast was amazing! Billy Crystal is a reaper of sorts, but he definitely struggles with his job. Kevin Kline is the president, who has been so busy with his job that his relationship with his wife and daughter have suffered. The president some how tricks the reaper into giving him extra time to try and tie up some loose ends. As you can imagine, things don't go as planned. There was a lot of humor and just a touch of sadness. Highly recommend!

Sara Flannigan wasn't really looking for love when she took her son to his oncology appointment. She was just praying that he was still cancer free. The oncologist just happened to be Harrison Thornton, one of the hottest guys in town, and charming too. She tries to deny her attraction to Harrison because he is from the wealthy Thornton family and she is from a poor family. Regardless of the naysayers, they try to make a go of it. Can their love survive a meddling mother, and a jerk of an ex-husband? I love this series of books! So happy to finally have one on audio.

They say Paris is always a good idea.... You know what I say? Paris would be a much better idea if I spoke the dang language. I can't even board the metro to visit the Louvre without ending up at the Moulin Rouge, and let's not even mention how I'll ever make it through a day at my new office. Fortunately my company hooks me up with my own personal translator. Ooh la la. Or should I say bloody hell? Because he's charming, witty, and British, and he brings the city to life for me.

Honestly, I was hooked as soon as I heard Richard Armitage in the sample of the recording. I started listening and I fell in love with the characters and the story. I felt like I was along side them in Paris. One of my favorite things was the witty banter between Griffin and Joy. I found myself listening with my headphones on and laughing out loud while out walking, which makes people look at you like your crazy. I don't care. Also, I will add that this book has plenty of steam. Did I mention Richard Armitage? I could honestly listen to him for hours. Anyways, this is a great love story, but it is also a book about loving yourself. It is a book which I will return to often. I also loved the interview with the author at the end. Happy listening!

Where does Heart of Evil rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I really rank this near the top. It had a riveting story that kept me on the edge of my seat and Luke Daniels did an awesome job narrating!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Ashley Donegal is one of my favorites. I really enjoyed her characters personality and all she encountered.

What about Luke Daniels’s performance did you like?

I thought he brought every character to life in such a way as to make it easy to picture them all in your mind. He is truly an awesome narrator.

If you could take any character from Heart of Evil out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Just one? No way! I would love to have a meal with the entire 'Krewe'. Now that would be very cool.
