In 2014, Theranos founder and CEO Elizabeth Holmes was widely seen as the female Steve Jobs: a brilliant Stanford dropout whose start-up “unicorn” promised to revolutionize the medical industry with a machine that would make blood testing significantly faster and easier. Backed by investors such as Larry Ellison and Tim Draper, Theranos sold shares in a fund-raising round that valued the company at more than $9 billion, putting Holmes’ worth at an estimated $4.7 billion. There was just one problem: The technology didn’t work.

He started by reaching out to people he admired, searching for mentors, and applying his past coaches' advice from sports to life off the field. Lewis did more than bounce back: He built a multimillion-dollar online business and is now a sought-after business coach, speaker, and podcast host.

But the narration was terrible. I know Lewis gave it his best shot, but he clearly does not have any experience at the difficult task of narrating a book. It really distracted from his message. Overall, there was really nothing new in this book. I enjoyed the stories of people's real life successes.

One of Jane Austen’s most beloved works, Pride and Prejudice, is vividly brought to life by Academy Award nominee Rosamund Pike ( Gone Girl). In her bright and energetic performance of this British classic, she expertly captures Austen’s signature wit and tone. Her attention to detail, her literary background, and her performance in the 2005 feature film version of the novel provide the perfect foundation from which to convey the story of Elizabeth Bennett, her four sisters, and the inimitable Mr. Darcy.

Whatever Rosamund Pike got paid for her narration it was not nearly enough!. She did an incredible job of manage all the different voices -- make and female. Her narration was very fluent in spite of the heavy Old English vernacular. I thoroughly enjoyed this book largely due to Ms. Pike's performance. Well done!

I have listened to many audible books and this by far is absolutely the best narration I have ever heard. The narrator brings the story to life and doesn't outstanding job of voicing all of the characters. Her re-create shin of the accents and of the emotion of each of the people in the story is unmatched. The story itself is almost too evil and cruel to believe but sadly it is. There's so much hope and healing in this story. Well well worth reading!

Filled with narrative stories, humor, and practical help, this book is for anyone who wants to live fully and wonders just what that might look like in daily life. Many people are lurching in the twilight, hoping to sing once again… living lives of quiet desperation, searching in vain for signs of life. St. Irenaeus said, "The Glory of God is man fully alive." For those who have been sidelined in life, for those tempted to give up, this book screams Live!

By forcing us to apply a more selective criteria for what is Essential, the disciplined pursuit of less empowers us to reclaim control of our own choices about where to spend our precious time and energy - instead of giving others the implicit permission to choose for us. Essentialism is not one more thing - it’s a whole new way of doing everything. It’s about doing less, but better, in every area of our lives. Essentialism is a movement whose time has come.
