A once lost magnificent antique vase from China's 13th Century Song Dynasty reappears from the depths of the Mediterranean Sea where it comes to dwell on a piano in a doctor's home. It becomes the impetus in steering the lives of this doctor and his descendants through their heartbreaks, romances, and ultimately successes. An assassination, a sabotage on a Greek island, and amazing musical performances are but some of the events that strike their lives. Spanning from 13th Century China to the present, the story takes place on four continents.

I totally enjoyed hearing the author narrate her own story. It makes the experience so much more personal. This story is very complex and enthralling. There are time jumps that are somewhat confusing but it all comes together as the listener continues on. I have never listened to such an interesting story-line that also gives the feeling of a history lesson. The characters are very humble and exciting at the same time. The way the story comes together is cause to keep listening without stopping to see what's next. I felt very uplifted at the end and very happy that I was gifted this book in exchange for an hones review. How I wish I had some of the character's musical abilities.

If there was such a thing as an urban legend in Cotton Creek, it was Grady Judd. He'd broken the heart of every woman he'd ever kissed, and he'd kissed a plenty. Many tried to rope him, tie him down, and drag him to the altar, but Grady wasn't the marrying kind. Until he showed back up in Cotton Creek this time to discover that he's not the only heart breaker in town, which leads to a whole new game and an entirely new question. Could Grady Judd finally have met his match?

Ciana Stone has once again wtitten a romantic and exciting story with all of the elements that make listening to the audio so enthralling: hot and sexy guy finally meets his female counterpart and the interaction leads to sexy conversations and onto sexy lovemaking. Each has had incidents in their lives that leaves them afraid of commitment so at first it's just all fun and games. Slowly they begin to trust each other and share some scary events that draw them closer together. The narrator Scott Bennett has an exceptional talent in presenting both voices and brings the listener into their minds and hearts. This story will definitely satisfy the listener in many ways and bring the story alive visually in the listener's mind. Great teamwork Ciana and Scott!❤

The Dolan Girls by S. R. Mallery has it all. Set in Nebraska during the 1800s, whorehouse madams, ladies of the night, a schoolmarm, a Pinkerton detective, a Shakespeare-quoting old coot, brutal outlaws, and a horse-wrangler fill out the cast of characters. Added to the mix are colorful descriptions of an 1856 land rush, Buffalo Bill and his Wild West Show, Annie Oakley, bank/train robberies, small town local politics, and, of course, romance. Two, in fact!

There's nothing like a good romantic love story from back in the days of gunslingers and their exciting women. This story has all the characters needed to keep the listener totally enthralled until the end! Cora and Thomas are young sweethearts whose lives are torn apart by his evil half brother, Wes.
The years pass and finally they see each other again but Cora believes Thomas had abandoned her and lost all trust in him. As the story evolves the listener is totally involved and eagerly anticipates what the ending will be. The narrator is magnificent and relates the story with a calmness but also with passion enough to curl the listener's toes. Don't miss this one please!!

This book takes the listener back in time to the Biblical days of Kings and Queens and war among family members. King David has several children by several different wives. Back then a King could do whatever he wanted. He ruled the land wisely but was not so wise when it came to his sons.
This book made me realize that some things in life never change...many of the issues in this book such as incest and murder are still around today and will always be around.
I enjoyed the narrator's voice and the manner in which he spoke. I've always enjoyed how people conversed back in those days--such proper English.
I appreciate receiving this book in exchange for a review.
This was a gripping story and quite shocking in some parts but overall I totally enjoyed being brought back in time to this era.

I enjoyed this audio book that was given to me in exchange for a review.
I am an enthusiastic animal lover and totally believe in rescue procedures for all animals. This book endorses my beliefs greatly. I have to admit there were a few parts that were hard to hear about but these parts expressed what happens to some animals. It's a cruel world sometimes and I hope that anyone who listens to this book will be inspired to donate to a rescue facility. I joined the "Best Friends' group after the hurricanes lately.

The fact that this book was also a murder mystery made it even more interesting since I love a good mystery. The story is a good one and I really enjoyed it.

The narrator Kevin presented this book well.
I give this book 4 stars.

I enjoy a good mystery and this one kept me intensely involved throughout the entire book. I couldn't wait to hear what was going to happen next!!

One thing about reviews though is I hate to spoil the story.

A good short story that reminds me of a good Hallmark movie. A couple meets and instantly are sexually attracted to each other. All seems wonderful until one day he just disappears out of her life. He never knew she had become pregnant and gave birth to his daughter. She goes on with her life and is a great mom. However, she finds out she is sick and may not have long to live. Suddenly she gets an email from him and he wants to see her again. At first she is very angry but soon realizes she still loves him and he deserves to know about his daughter. I don't want to spoil the rest of the story so I won't divulge any more but I totally enjoyed this story. I was giving this book in exchange for an honest review and I really appreciate it. I've always enjoyed books about cowboys since my Dad and I watched all the old shows on TV when I was growing up in the 50's and 60's. I was his third daughter and since he didn't have a son I tried my best to be there for him and his cowboy shows.
I really enjoyed this book but it was nothing like what I used to watch as a kid. This was a hot and steamy story and I must say that I was well satisfied in the romance department. The story is an age old one in which the female has lost the love of her life and blames herself. She is afraid to love again but with the right encouragement from a handsome cowboy she realizes that she can fall in love for a 2nd time.
I was given this book in exchange for a review. I'm happy to say the narrator was fantastic and listening to the steam parts made my toes curl !! Good job to author and narrator and thanks for this opportunity !!

I am one of Aaron Paul Lazar's happiest fans. I have listened to almost every book he has written. This is my first in the Tall Pines series. I so enjoyed the entire story. When I listen to one of Aaron's books I feel as if I am part of the actual story. The characters in every book are so real and "down to earth" for the most part but I have to say some of them manage to experience life in a way that is unusual. That's what makes such a good story though...experiencing life vicariously through these exciting and romantic characters. I was given this book by Aaron in exchange for a review. This book did not fail to satisfy my interest in his stories. I had no idea how this story was going to end. A young couple and her Mom and a talking bird traveling in a van to a bird show ! Twists and turns take the listener to places one would never expect. Don't miss this one !! Thanks Aaron !
