if you haven't read this series you need to start from the beginning but worth it and has many lessons. speaking for myself I have acreage and have started developing the land in a way that mirrors the food Forest described better in book to I believe. it's okay being a prepper but never having to need everything your land provides

got some great characters added to this book, The Otter specifically. every time the narrator change his voice similar to Jake's I found myself on edge trying to figure out if this is another clue to Jake's pass
