There were some fascinating stories of this gifted actor. Unfortunately his voice was weak and I felt like I was listening to my grandad tell stories. It was kind of sweet and endearing

I wasn't sure what to expect from this book based on the title. I enjoy Ru Pauls Drag Race, and admire Dan Savage; so based on his recommendation I bought the book. It was a wonderful surprise and a moving delight. A coming of age story that non drag queens can relate to. The performance was the icing on the cake. Can't wait to read more from this talented author.
