Jones has trained more than two million people across five continents and over 50 countries in the lost art of spoken communication. In Exactly What to Say, he delivers the tactics you need to get more of what you want.

Loved how he helps motivate you by giving examples of the pit falls others have made by not actually doing. Loved his heart about giving and how important that is in life. I read the 3rd book not knowing first and that was way over my head. Maybe by doing that this book was waaaaay easier to comprehend. yes I am on my way!!!! thank you!

Meet a genuine American folk hero cut from the homespun cloth of America's heartland: Sam Walton, who parlayed a single dime store in a hardscrabble cotton town into Wal-Mart, the largest retailer in the world. The undisputed merchant king of the late 20th century, Sam never lost the common touch. Here, finally, inimitable words. Genuinely modest, but always sure of his ambitions and achievements. Sam shares his thinking in a candid, straight-from-the-shoulder style. In a story rich with anecdotes and the "rules of the road" of both Main Street and Wall Street, Sam Walton chronicles the inspiration, heart, and optimism that propelled him to lasso the American Dream.

Very much got a deeper more complete picture of the Waltons and how they got to do business they way they currently do business. I respect it all the more. Hard working and "the customers best interest" in mind. realized they got a lot of crap that was not deserved. Learned key tools to help me run a business. Any knowledge I can pull I will. First take away was, "always be the first to greet someone on the sidewalk."

Today we live in a culture that says, "My life should be easy and work well for me". This attitude, called entitlement, influences our most important institutions: family, business, church, and government. Its effects are devastating, contributing to relational problems, work ethic issues, and emotional struggles.

I was able to listen to this on 1.95x speed... the tone of voice was also draggy sounding and not welcoming or friendly. which might if been intentional? I wanted to get so much out of this book so I kept going to the end. Didnt throw the baby out with the bath water. There are some great points she makes. Everything might if been better if it was more condensed. will probably go back and listen to "The Chapter 4" again at some point.
