As a newcomer to the alien tribe, I've struggled to find my place. It might be because I'm a tad headstrong at times. And yes, I might have thrown a few things at people's heads. But I had a good reason to pitch a fit - my shy sister was stolen away right under my nose. Of course, now she's back and mated. Everyone's happy...except me. I need...affection. Attention. Okay, I'm lonely. Really lonely. Strangely enough, the only person that I think understands what I'm going through is the same blue-skinned brute that stole my sister. It's wrong to hook up with him, even as a mindless fling.

In this entertaining audiobook, we have Maddie who is the sister of Lilah from the previous book. She’s not fitting in too well and is frustrated because she feels bored and useless now that her sister has a mate. She decides to learn to hunt and asks Hassan (the alien who had kidnapped Lilah) to teach her. Before too long they give into their physical attraction, but Hassan wants more than Maddie is ready to give. When disaster strikes, Hassan and Maddie set out to find a new home for everyone. Will they ever resonate and will they find somewhere to move the tribe? Narration was well done!

Taramina could survive slavery, even as a pet in Prium’s Intergalactic Lounge. She always knew she’d escape. She just didn’t know escape would come in the form of a powerful, handsome male of her own species. Especially one whose rough handling incites a fever in her she hasn’t felt before. But she intends to make a fresh start, which means severing ties with the dominant Zandian who once held her collar and a leash. The male who knows just how to master her. No, she can’t be his pet. Not after what she’s been through. So why does she keep coming back for more?

Living in Southern California, Cheyenne was used to seeing hot military men as she went about her daily business. An anonymous encounter at the grocery store cemented her crush on one such man. He was big, built, and incredibly easy on the eyes, but it wasn't as if he would ever really notice her. Always in control of any situation, Faulkner "Dude" Cooper knows explosives. As a bomb expert, he's lived through many high pressure situations.

I really enjoyed this audiobook! The heroine is a down on her luck woman who is working as a maid at a shabby resort in Northern California. Mozart, a Navy SEAL, is at the resort hunting for a serial killer who killed his sister years before. When they meet, he’s intrigued by the too thin pretty woman and after she does him a favor he asks her to dinner. They become close, but then his leave is over and he heads back to base. However, he can’t stop thinking about Summer and months later he returns to see her. Appalled at the condition of her living arrangement, he takes over because he already considers her HIS. Unfortunately, there is still the serial killer to deal with. Narration was well done!

I always enjoy stories by Susan Stoker! This audiobook was about a woman with a lot of emotional problems and body dysmorphic disorder. She’s never had s boyfriend or even been kissed, when at 35 she meets a man who she really likes and is attracted to. He’s a game warden and often comes by the bar where she works her second job. She gets up the courage to ask him to come on a canoeing trip she’s guiding and they hit it off. As they slowly build a relationship, he’s patient and loving. Then, on a camping trip they planned together, she disappears. Can they get back to each other before it’s too late? Great narration too!
