I LOVE the idea of having a growth mindset.

Revolutionary. Reading this book was like turning a light switch on. We aren't the sum of our intelligence and talent, these are just the starting points. Through dedication and hard work we are always growing, learning, and evolving.

Fixed mindset: This is just how I am

Growth mindset: I can learn and grow and become anything I want.

Great stuff!

People start dropping dead around Charlie, giant ravens perch on his building, and it seems that everywhere he goes, a dark presence whispers to him from under the streets. Strange names start appearing on his nightstand notepad, and before he knows it, those people end up dead, too. Yup, it seems that Charlie Asher has been recruited for a new job, an unpleasant but utterly necessary one: Death.

I love me some Christopher Moore!

What I love about a Moore story are the guaranteed laughs, heaping helpings of insanity, and too many lol moments to count. It always feels like I'm saying goodbye to a close friend when the story is over. This was no different.

A Dirty Job is an immersive experience filled with wonderful characters that not only made me smile, cringe, and want to barf, but also pulled on my heart strings as I frantically "turned the pages" all the way to the end.

Fisher Stevens did an amazing job bringing the story to life, well done sir.

Anyway, 5 stars, and two enthusiastic thumbs way up there!

Just finished Eyes to See and it totally blew my mind! The best fiction I've read, I mean listened to, in a long, long time! Seriously good!

I love Harry Dresden and Odd Thomas, great stories, awesome characters, but Jeremiah Hunt is by far the most awesome protag I've read in that genre. Or any. He's like Odd and Harry's older, much cooler brother.

The narrator, Anthony Bowden, was incredible as well. I'm looking forward to hearing more from him.

Once again Cindy Piller does a fine job with the naration.

Many great ideas, but my favorite takeaways are: taking your writing mobile, the plan c method, and using the method of decent.

Another winner.

More than a book on writing faster, a look behind the scenes of a rising star.

The first half of Write Better, Faster is packed with step-by-step training, awesome examples, and the tools needed to improve your writing on so many levels, not just your word count.

In the second half, Appendix: Life of a Writer Diary, which was my favorite, we not only get a peek inside Monica's life, but a front row seat as she takes on a two month quest to create a daily writing habit. Her struggles, successes, ups and downs...it's all there.

Monica's honesty and commitment to the craft shine through making this one of the best books on writing I've ever read.

The narrator did a fine job bringing the pages to life, well done.

After listening to Write Better, Faster, I realized that if I want serious results with my writing, I have to take my writing seriously.

First thing I'm going to do is start tracking my progress, then it's on to the next book in the Growth Hacking for Storytellers series, Nail Your Story!

Okay, so I'm a HUGE fan of Sean and Johnny's work, but for some reason Namaste wasn't on my radar of "Need to reads." Even so, I had some traveling to do and figured I'd give Namaste a shot during the flight, if it grabbed me I'd keep reading. Holy crap, it grabbed me alright...by the throat!

This was the perfect book to get lost in. Actually it was more like being pulled behind a speeding truck on a skateboard, there was no way I was letting go until the last page.

Namaste was brutal, cunning, thoughtful, and 100% AWESOME! The narrator did an excellent job of bringing the story to life.

Soooo, yeah...where to start. First of all, Season 3 of Yesterday's Gone is a complete find muck. Like a bullet train with turns or a ride on The Fury 325 roller coaster at Carowinds in North Carolina.

Once again the narrators are amazing and give this story a life all its own. I was so engrossed that I would lose track of my own life, which was awesome! Not sure what that says about me, but wow man, this book was deep, scary, stomach wrenching and, yep, brought a tear to my eye more than once.

And don't think for a second you're getting out without having to dive right into the next season, because uh, good luck with that. Anyway, I'm already knee deep into Season 4 (unfortunately it's not on Audible yet, so I'm going "old school" and reading the ebook) so I've gotta go, something to do...
