Freddie “the Cheerleader,” Phyllis “the Class President,” and Renetta “the Fat Girl” ended their friendship back in high school. So it’s a surprise to all of them when they end up connecting at their 30-year high school reunion. They’ve all changed since those harsh yet tender high school years, and each one of them has her own deliciously scandalous secret. But when those secrets threaten to come to light—and possibly tear apart their less than perfect, but generally content lives—they band together in their sisterhood to stand and fight to keep what’s theirs

Took me a while because the narrator was horrible,

Other than the bad narrating, this is a really good book. You could really relate or almost all the characters and let me tell you the judge had me and my huddy rolling on the floor.

I really enjoyed this book, really short and to the point. "Please note" you have to have an open mind to read this book. If you have any issues with Homosexuality then this is not a good book for you....

The beloved #1 Essence best-selling authors of Tryin' to Sleep in the Bed You Made now deliver a novel in which you'll meet their most unforgettable characters yet. Carmen, Jewel, and Regina could not be more different. When they meet as freshmen at Columbia University, they're pretty confident that a friendship among them isn't in the cards.

At times I felt myself drifting off into space due to the vast amount of description the authors give...But over all this is a great story line, I enjoyed it a lot. 3 Ladies from diffrent backgrounds all had a diffrent life lesson to learn, but the one lesson they shared is that life is not always fair,,,, Enjoy

I really enjoyed this book, and If I might add, I was pro Isis the entire time. I thought Carl Weber did a great job of blending this book with Something on the side. I do have to say that the ending just left me wanting more, so I hope there is a 3rd installment. Something on the side was the 1st book I read by Carl Weber and this was the 2nd. He caught my attention better than Zane's latest book. Anyway if you like Drama (which I love lol) this is the book for you.!!!! Enjoy

Although I still think Addicted was Zane's best book, I really enjoyed Total Eclispe of the Heart. I thought it was very "clean" for a Zane novel, not "raunchy" but a good story line. You will really enjoy it.

I do wish there were different voices to play different characters. That kind of messed with my imagination a bit. Damon reading for himself, Carlyee, Jordan and Brooke and vice-versa Brooke reading for Brooke, Patrick, and Damon seemed strange to me. But overall very good book.
