Nabeel Qureshi describes his dramatic journey from Islam to Christianity, complete with friendships, investigations, and supernatural dreams along the way. Providing an intimate window into a loving Muslim home, Qureshi shares how he developed a passion for Islam before discovering, almost against his will, evidence that Jesus rose from the dead and claimed to be God. Unable to deny the arguments but not wanting to deny his family, Qureshi's inner turmoil will challenge Christians and Muslims alike.

This captivating audio book brings together devotional insight, scientific thought, and magnificent images of the universe. The psalmist sang that the “heavens declare the glory of God” (19:1). Throughout this stunning audio, Louie Giglio and Matt Redman join in that very same song - noting just how powerfully the wonders of the cosmos can speak to us of the majesty and mercy of our Maker.

This is good information, and it really makes you think. It's a little long so you have to just choose at times to plow through.

Also, the audio mix is awful. It needs to be re-mixed! It goes from loud to soft. If you're under headphones, it's not too bad to set at a medium range, but if there is any outside noise (like riding in a car as I am when I listen to audible books), you have to ride the volume back and forth or the soft whispers are too soft and the shrill stuff just bats you between the eyes. I understand that the author was trying to read it with some acting out, but she needed a skilled engineer to assist. It is worth a re-mixing because it's good information.

What would have made Mental Toughness for Success better?

This is not an Audiobook. It's just a special speaking engagement where Dr. Hilliard spoke on the topic of his book. Whereas I am glad to have this, I was actually looking for the book. I have the paper copy, but wanted to listen to the book in the car. Was a bit disappointed that it was not clear that it wasn't an Audiobook.

Would you recommend Mental Toughness for Success to your friends? Why or why not?

Not this recording...reason stated above.

Have you listened to any of the narrator’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Dr. Hilliard is a great communicator. I have never heard him read one of his books. I have only heard him as a speaker (as is this recording).
