I always imagined Death's final kiss would be cold. It wasn't. Four years later, I can still remember the exact shade of his skin: a blue so pale it looked like moonlight. I dream of his touch. Mostly, I paint the man under the heavy cowl, including those perfect lips that ruined mine for anyone else. I'm obsessed with him. The doctors say he's nothing more than a hallucination caused by a mixture of head trauma and emergency pain medications. Now, something's changed, and my drawings are taking on a life of their own. Death is back. He wants another kiss. And he's not alone.

Auryn Hadley is one of my most favorite authors and I was SO excited to get this audiobook! Unfortunately, I only made it 5 minutes into it before the narrator ruined it for me. I’ve never had a reaction like this before- but the narration has literally given me a headache and eye twitching. I’m praying her next book uses a different narrator!

Sunshine. It's a nickname I haven't heard since I lived on Woodbury Lane, where the houses were pretty, but the secrets? Deadly. It was a pet name known only to the Bullets. Rough, violent, and ruthless, they laid claim to the town - and my heart. I wasn't supposed to fall for a boy from the wrong side of the tracks‚ especially not four of them. But they were the only ones who understood that sometimes hell hides in plain sight.

With ribald humor, wit, and incredible insight, Alan seamlessly moves back and forth in time, integrating stories from his childhood in Scotland and his experiences today as the celebrated actor of film, television, and stage. At times suspenseful, at times deeply moving, but always incredibly brave and honest, Not My Father's Son is a powerful story of embracing the best aspects of the past and triumphantly pushing the darkness aside.

I adore Alan Cumming, so purchasing this was a no-brainer for me. It was so well written and narrated. He's entertaining, heartbreaking, vulnerable, funny, and brutally honest in this memoir. I found myself laughing, tearing up and on the edge of my seat. This was excellent and I'm so glad I purchased it!

I was on the edge of my seat for 16 hours. This was so well researched and written. From religion, rape, inequality, relationships, and the power of small communities- This covered all of it in a compassionate, logical way. This story is heartbreaking and Jack Olsen did such an amazing job of covering all sides of it. I loved Kevin Pierce's narration- the tone and pacing was perfect. It seemed like a risk to have a male narrate this story, but he was exceptional!

Vanessa Mazur knows she's doing the right thing. She shouldn't feel bad for quitting. Being an assistant/housekeeper/fairy godmother to the top defensive end in the National Football Organization was always supposed to be temporary. She has plans, and none of them include washing extra-large underwear longer than necessary. But when Aiden Graves shows up at her door wanting her to come back, she's beyond shocked.
