Mr Block did an excellent job reading and producing this audio book. The use of music throughout was just enough to enhance the listen without overpowering the story.
The story itself is wonderfully written with just enough back story and side plots to make it interesting but not jumbled and hard to follow the Characters are interesting carries and well developed and the plot twists imaginative and enjoyable.
A non horse person is sure to enjoy this fast passes story but for us horse lovers it’s especially enjoyable.

I truly enjoyed this book and Mike’s narration. His description of flying in a fighter is excellent and accurate.
I can only hope his description the training and space flight is just as accurate.
Well worth the read Mike is a blue collar scientist and a workin Man’s Astronaut.
I’d love to have a beer with Mike and talk flying and dive training with him. This book was like sitting around and having him tell these stories. Well worth the listen.

Trying to understand why I listened to the entire thing as it wasn’t the least bit entertaining but I guess I was trying to give it a chance to redeem itself.
If you want to spend a few hours listening to adults go on JR High children this book is perfect for you. What a bunch of immature, vindictive, egomaniacs
Can’t really blame the “documentarian” he didn’t have much to work with.

The story line is Count of Monte Cristo “esque“. I enjoyed the premise and plot twists. Tom Blocks performance, editing and dramatic use of music has Cotten better and better this being his best to date in my opinion.
I recommend this performance to Monte Cristo and Good over Evil fans.

Enjoyable as always was fun to hear most of the inflight problems as in air failures VS the usual heavily relying on combat scenes.
Mr Block is getting better and better with his use of music and the audio quality is the best of all the studios I've listened to.

Love Anthony's writing and I enjoyed re-experiencing Pale Horse as an Audio book.
The performance was fine however there was a "ghost" (no pun intended) back ground audio basically a .5 second delay echo of what was just said.
Ya might want to check the master file and make sure it isn't just my copy

I enjoyed all aspects of this series and this book in particular I'm sure it was enjoyable for narrator Block as I believe he actually flew DC3s and his intimate knowledge of such aircraft came through in the reading
The music added points of the narration was just enough the selection and volume added to my listening pleasure I would enjoy more installments to the series
