GREAT book for anyone in a relationship, or wanting to be in one. It really helps identify the critical factors in choosing a mate and lays out the factors for a successful relationship. Mr. Gaskins narrates the book himself. He adds a lot of personal stories and provides info that is very meaningful for those navigating relationships in this modern time.

Researcher and thought leader Dr. Brené Brown offers a powerful new vision that encourages us to dare greatly: to embrace vulnerability and imperfection, to live wholeheartedly, and to courageously engage in our lives. In Daring Greatly, Dr. Brown challenges everything we think we know about vulnerability. Based on 12 years of research, her book argues that vulnerability is not weakness but rather our clearest path to courage, engagement, and meaningful connection.

Would you try another book from Brené Brown and/or Karen White?

By Brene - yes. By Karen - absolutley not.

Would you be willing to try another book from Brené Brown? Why or why not?

Only if Brene narrated it. This lacked authenticity. I bought this because I had previously bought and enjoyed the Power of Vulnerability. My experience with this was very different.

Would you be willing to try another one of Karen White’s performances?

NO! It was the most boring thing I have ever listenened do. VERY disappointing!!

What character would you cut from Daring Greatly?

N/A

On The Power of Vulnerability, Dr. Brown offers an invitation and a promise - that when we dare to drop the armor that protects us from feeling vulnerable, we open ourselves to the experiences that bring purpose and meaning to our lives. Here she dispels the cultural myth that vulnerability is weakness and reveals that it is, in truth, our most accurate measure of courage.
