I don't know how many times I've listened to this and Rich Dad Poor Dad but I could put a dollar figure it has earned me. I'm actually applying the principles and it works. I'm still at a low level but it truly is simple (if not always easy.) It is the 50000 foot view, it doesn't get into nitty gritty detail. But if you want to get your head right to grow your wealth then this is a must read.

Six months have passed since the release of Nexus 5. The world is a different, more dangerous place. In the USA, the freedom fighters of the Post-Human Liberation Front use Nexus to turn men and women into human time bombs aimed at the President and his allies. The first blows in the war between human and post-human have been struck.

In the near future, the nano-drug Nexus can link mind to mind. There are some who want to improve it. There are some who want to eradicate it. And there are others who just want to exploit it. When a young scientist is caught improving Nexus, he’s thrust over his head into a world of danger and international espionage, with far more at stake than anyone realizes.

Picked this up on a daily deal. Their master plan worked and I've already bought books two and three. ;) Will be starting book two as soon as I'm done writing this.

It's near future mind and body hacking. Kind of like cyberpunk without the attitude.

Love the narration by Luke Daniels. It enhances the story. I really bought it because of him because I've liked everything else I've read that he narrates.

Golan Trevize, former councilman of the First Foundation, has chosen the future, and it is Gaia. A superorganism, Gaia is a holistic planet with a common consciousness so intensely united that every dewdrop, every pebble, every being, can speak for all - and feel for all. It is a realm in which privacy is not only undesirable, it is incomprehensible. But is it the right choice for the destiny of mankind? While Trevize feels it is, that is not enough. He must know.

I've listened to over 200 audiobooks and did not know I cared about good narration until I listened to this. For a while I thought it was a robot-ish artistic choice. Nope just bad. Seriously sounds like sections were read by a pc. Others not so bad. So maybe it was an audio engineers fault? Whatever it was, I now know I care. And I will not listen to him ever again.

Excellent Information

This is not really a motivational book. It is practical and usable information for organizing and processing the mental clutter for your corporate and home life. Some of it feels outdated since it was written in 2002 and focuses heavily on the world of paper files, email, and mentions older programs. But, he is pretty clear though that you need to use the system that you'll actually use. I manage nicely with an iPhone and the 2Do app with minimal paper (though he did convince me to set up and use my file drawer anyway.) The base information is timeless and easily applied to modern programs.

Like many books of this nature it has about 5 minutes of principles and spends hours explaining how and why to apply it. Don't be discouraged by this. It takes about halfway through the book to figure out that having a simple and usable method for organizing your life is far better than the way that most of us wing it or rush from fire to fire. I've been applying this and it's started to lift the crushing weight of my to do list and let me focus on being productive.
