Monty Roberts' father, a traditional horse trainer, had taught his son to dominate a horse in order to "break" it. But when he was 13, Monty made a discovery that changed his life. As he watched a mare tame a rebellious colt, Monty saw that she was speaking to it through eye and body movements. Astonished, Monty realized that he could train horses by using their language, speaking to them in ways that would form trust and understanding. Developing techniques based on what he learned from the horses around him, Monty embarked on a remarkable career - one that would bring him international fame as the real Horse Whisperer.

The narrator and tone for the introduction (and last chapter) almost had me returning the book immediately. Hated it. Once you get into the book it gets much better, however I have come to learn at least 50% of it is BS. Still a pretty good story though!

I am guessing those reviews are by the publisher. The book isnt bad and neither is the narration, but it might as well be a different genre than Vince Flynn and Mitch.

The consternation is immediate, as the CIA, FBI, and other agencies race to find out what happened, in the process elbowing one another in the sides a little too vigorously. I wanted to like this book and series, but it really is the slowest and most long winded thing I have come across here on audible.
Good narration, but I just can't handle "wasting" my time any longer.

Thought The Cleaner was a great book .... and Scott Brick was as always - fantastic.
This narrator simply ruins this book. A few hours in and I just cant listen anymore.
I am going to move to the next Brett Battles book and the wonderful Scott Brick narration.

I have invested 7 hrs into this book. I just kept telling myself it would get better. It did not. It is actually getting worse!
I just cant take it anymore.
